'True Beauty' centers its story on Im Joo Kyung, a positive thinker and a cheerful girl who feels insecure about her physical appearance and uses makeup to make her feel confident and beautiful. She tends to overdo her makeup to hide her real face, and she doesn't want anyone to see her without makeup on.
One day, she meets Lee Su Ho, portrayed by ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo, a boy who has deep scars in his heart. He is close to being a perfect boy. He's got it all, the looks, good grades, and even great basketball skills! This boy smites everyone; however, he isn't interested in others. Both characters will eventually grow as they share their secrets.
tvN has shared to everyone the character posters of the drama's lead casts Cha Eun Woo, Moon Ga Young, Park Yoo Na, and Hwang In Yeob. The newly released posters feature the side by side photo of the cast and the illustrated versions created by the original webtoon's author Yaongyi.
