Netizens Accuse Actress Ham Sowon of Over Exaggerating Her Story

Actress Ham So Won is once again under fire for her alleged exaggeration of the story.

In the latest episode of "Taste of Wife" aired last Nov. 10, viewers have witnessed actress/TV personality Won argument with the nanny over the clothing of her daughter, Hye Jung. The show's cast members were shocked to see the nanny purchasing clothes for Hye Jung. Ham So Won expressed that she thinks the nanny bought new pants because she saw Hye Jung wearing relatively small clothes.

The episode also featured how Ham So Won bought a pair of oversized shoes for her daughter. The actress shared that she bought more oversized shoes for her daughter to make use of it for a longer time. The actress added that she felt that it's not practical if her daughter wears the shoes only for a year, and then it won't fit her anymore.

It seems that Ham So Won is a practical mother and doesn't want to be wasteful. However, this did not impress the netizens, and they shared their comments online, stating: "She always makes it too much to gain attention," "She should spend more on her daughter," "I feel so bad for Jin Hua for the ridiculous comments she's made on broadcast," and more.Meanwhile, you can see the video clip below to find out more!

This is not the first time that the netizens criticized the actress. Previously, viewers have expressed discomfort over Ham So Won and her husband, Jin Hua's appearance on the 'Knowing Brothers' television series. The couple is famous for their variety program "Taste of Wife," and they are also making few other auxiliary appearances on other programs, including 'Knowing Brothers'. However, with their appearance in the said program, the netizens have not been particularly happy about the outcome.

In the show, the couple's other family members, such as Jin Hua's mother, made an appearance, and the actress shared the story about her and her husband, Jin Hua's first meeting, and how they overcame their eighteen-year age gap.

When she described her first impression of her husband, she used the words like "He was disgustingly handsome," which other viewers consider her description as "vulgar" and "inappropriate" for "someone with a family and a child." The couple is well-known for frequently having controversial arguments on-air, and netizens are beginning to question the purpose of their presence in other various programs. 

42-year-old actress Ham So Won is married to Weibo star and former idol trainee Jin Hua. The former idol is 18 years younger than his bride. Ham So Won at first thought the younger man was having fun with her. However, after getting to know Jin Hua, she realized he was serious about her and later on married her. The couple welcomed their first child back in December 2018. They featured the entire process on television, including her in labor before giving birth.
