In the upcoming TV drama "Climax," South Korean actors Ju Ji Hoon and Ha Ji Won will play a married couple. They are talking about their on-screen relationship and how real and emotional their characters are.

On March 10, the actors went to a press conference at The Saint in Guro, Seoul, where they talked about their parts in the drama before it came out.
According to a report that AllKpop used, the show is about prosecutor Bang Tae-seop, who gets caught up with a powerful cartel while trying to get the highest position in South Korea. The story is about the intense fight for survival that happens around him. Ju Ji Hoon and Ha Ji Won play a married couple whose relationship is going through a lot of problems.
Ju Ji Hoon said that the drama shows a more realistic and down-to-earth view of marriage when asked about their chemistry and the nature of their on-screen relationship.
He said,"We are not in our early twenties anymore. There might be elements of romance, but like a real married couple, things cannot always be good. There are conflicts, but there is also trust. Even in difficult situations, there is a sense that 'this person will not betray me.' While acting out those emotions, I definitely received a lot of help from Ha Ji won."
The actor also said how much he liked having his co-star around while they were filming.
He said, "In tense situations, she has a way of making people feel relaxed. When she is on set, the atmosphere becomes softer. Even in difficult scenes, I learned from her that you do not need to become sharp or stressed to prepare well."
Ha Ji Won also talked about what it was like to work on the drama and how it had a unique emotional tone.
When asked about her role, she said, "I have done romantic comedy before, but this is my first time doing such an intense melodrama. Working with Ju Ji hoon made it even better. He is very cool and honest, and we had great chemistry while acting. Because we trusted each other without overthinking, even the emotionally intense scenes or arguments felt natural and enjoyable."
ChosunBiz's coverage brought out more details about the drama. The outlet said that new still images show Bang Tae-seop and Chu Sang-a in emotional situations that suggest there are complicated problems in their marriage.
The stills show Bang Tae-seop sitting alone in a bathroom and deep in thought, while Chu Sang-a looks like she's thinking in the same space, which suggests that both characters are having internal conflicts.
The show takes place in a power network where politics, business, and the entertainment industry all meet. The characters deal with ambition, loyalty, and survival.
"Climax" will air on ENA on March 16, and you can also watch it on KT Jini TV and Disney+.
