"The Spies Who Loved Me" actress Yoo In Na was absent from the press conference of her upcoming movie "New Year's Eve."

On Dec. 1, a press conference was held for the upcoming movie "New Year's Eve," and it was also broadcasted live online. Director Ji Young Hong and the cast, Kim Kang woo, Lee Yeon Seok, Lee Yeon Hee, Lee Dong Hui, Yeom Hye Ran, Choi Soo-young, and Yoo Tae Oh, were all present at the said event. However, the main lead who was originally scheduled to attend is missing in action.

After the cast and crew's introduction with one another, Park Kyung Lim, who was in charge of the said event, expressed that "Yoo In Na could not attend due to personal reasons." 

With regards to the actress not being present at the press conference, a source from the production team shared that Yoo In Na was experiencing a slight fever on that day and wasn't in good shape.

The actress had to take a leave and had to undergo the coronavirus test due to the fear of increasing cases of COVID19 in the entertainment industry. According to YG Entertainment officials, Yoo In Na's COVID-19 test result was negative, which relieved everyone's worries.

Currently, the actress is starring in the ongoing MBC drama "The Spies Who Loved Me." She portrays Kang Ah Reum, a wedding dress designer who was married twice in her life. Both her husbands keep a deep secret from her, so she digs deeper about them and gets involved with the situations they're in. Jun Ji Hoon (Eric Mun) disguises himself as a travel writer, but he is actually a secret agent for the Interpol.

Jun Ji Hoon is Kang Ah Reum's first husband, and they separated without her discovering that his real job was being a spy. After her divorce, she met Derek Hyun (Im Joo Hwan), and ended up marrying him. He works as a diplomatic official and is a gentle and kind man. However, he also keeps a secret from his wife. That is, he is also a spy, a cold-blooded industrial spy. The three characters will be entangled with their missions and it'll also complicate their love story.

Moving forward, Yoo In Na's upcoming film 'New Year's Eve' is scheduled to be released this month. It is a romantic movie that will tell the story of four couples who must face and overcome their individual fears and problems as they enter the New Year.

South Korean actress and DJ Yoo In Na were born on June 5, 1982. Then 38-year-old actress starred in supporting roles in dramas High Kick! Through the Roof (2009-2010) and Secret Garden (2010). Then she rose to fame when she portrayed the lead actress in Queen and I (2012) and she eventually landed a supporting role in the hit drama, My Love from the Star (2013-2014). She is also widely recognized for her roles in Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (2016-2017), which is considered as one of the highest-rated cable television series in South Korea, and Touch Your Heart (2019).
