SF9 Member Chani to Make a Cameo in the Upcoming Drama ‘True Beauty’
It is indeed the most-awaited Korean drama for the month of December. The "True Beauty" team shared a sneak-peek of SF9 member Chani who will be making a special appearance in some of its episodes.
"True Beauty" is based on a hit webtoon that tells of the romantic-comedy story about Lim Jo Kyung (Moon Ga Young), a high school student who persistently uses makeup to hide her bare face and fight her insecurities about her physical looks. Along her journey, he meets the famous and handsome student Lee Su Ho (Cha Eun Woo), who is also suffering from emotional wounds. They spend time together like friends and share each other's secrets and insecurities. With the help of one another, they started to learn how to overcome their problems and heal their wounds. They will also discover a special feelings towards each other.
Actor Hwang In Yeob will be part of their love triangle, for he will be playing the character of a rebel but kind hearted student named Han Seo Jun.
In the newly unveiled stills, Chani will be making a cameo as Jung Se Yeon. He will be playing the role of Lee Su Ho and Han Seo Jun's best friend. His buoyant character is the middleman smoothly bridging the gap between the cold Lee Su Ho and the rebel Han Seo Jun. The photos depicting their cute friendship was released on Dec. 08. It shows their close connection in the past.
Jung Se Yeon is confidently showing his bracelet, and the trio crosses their arms together, revealing that they are wearing friendship bracelets.
Nonetheless, back in the present Lee Su Ho and Han Seo Jun have a tense misunderstanding in their relationship, contrary to their solid and intact friendship in the past.
The fans and viewers are curious to know the reason why their friendship changed through the years. Another on screen trio that will surely make a good chemistry together.
This will be a new opportunity for the SF9 member Chani to show his acting skills. Aside from performing on stage, he is now ready to take small steps and pursue a career in the drama industry. Fans are very excited to see Chani's charm on screen!
