Ji Chang Wook and Kim Ji Won's Upcoming Drama 'City Couple's Way of Love' Gives off the Ultimate Holiday Vibe
The upcoming romantic drama of KakaoTV titled "City Couple's Way of Love" (also known as "Lovestruck in the City") has released a new heartwarming poster which will make us feel the holiday spirit!
"Lovestruck in the City" is a short form romance drama that will feature the story of realistic love of young people trying to survive the hectic city life. The drama will produce multiple seasons, and the first season is titled "My Lovable Camera Thief."
In the drama, Ji Chang Wook stars as Park Jae Won, a passionate architect, and an honest man. He loves to go around small streets in the city and collects things he likes. He cannot forget the woman he calls the "camera thief" with whom he fell in love but suddenly disappeared.
Kim Ji Won, on the other hand, stars as Lee Eun O, a freelance marketer who likes to take special unplanned trips. During her trip, Lee Eun O crosses paths with Park Jae Won in an unusual place. When she meets him, she introduces herself as a different person named Yoon Sun A and changes her persona as a free-spirited woman, an opposite characteristic from her real identity. She eventually falls in love with him.
"Lovestruck in the City" released a new Christmas-themed poster on Dec. 17. It showcased the undeniable chemistry between its cast. In the said teaser, Ji Chang Wook is seen wearing his bright and wide smile as he posed in the center of the photograph.
Kim Ji Won, on the other hand, is comfortable sitting in front of Ji Chang Wook as she immerses herself in her character as the "camera thief" named Lee Eun Oh. She stole Park Jae Won's heart using her alter ego Yoon Sun Ah. While, Kim Min Seok shows off his warm and confident smile as he poses as architect Choi Kyung Joon, a cynical realist who turns into a hopeless romantic when it comes to his longtime girlfriend Seo Rin Yi (played by So Ju Yeon).
Other casts present in the poster are So Ju Yeon as her character Seo Rin Yi. She lets out her quirky charms by doing a cute pose carrying some Christmas decors. Lastly, Ryu Kyung Soo and Han Ji Eun finished the dramas casting as jaded former couple Kang Geon and Oh Sun Young. Kang Geon opted to stay single because he is fed up with dating and Han Ji Eun is short-tempered who is very pessimistic when it comes to men.
This drama will mark Ji Chang Wook's next project from his last romantic-comedy series titled Backstreet Rookie where he plays the character of a convenience store manager named Choi Dae Hyun. Ji Chang Wook will also work with Tony Jaa and Iko Uwais in the upcoming action movie film 2023 The Fighters in Your Manila.
