The newly released tvN weekend drama "Mr. Queen" releases more stills to tease the audience with what to look forward to in the upcoming episode!
"Mr. Queen" is a drama adaptation of the Chinese novel "Go Princess Go." The drama is helmed by Director Yoon Sung Sik and are starred by Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun. Both actors will portray the 25th queen and king of the Joseon Dynasty respectively.
The series is a fantasy and comedy-drama about a man living in the modern era, whose soul unexpectedly transfers into the queen's body from the Joseon dynasty. He wanted to go back as quickly as possible but he is unable to do it.
Actress Shin Hye Sun portrays the character of the Joseon queen named Kim So Yong. Her body possesses the soul of the Blue House chef Jang Bong Hwan who is unfortunately trapped inside her. Meanwhile, Kim Jung Hyun stars as King Cheol jong, the queen's husband who is a weak and unproductive King on the outside, but is actually stronger and braver than what he appears to be.
Other casts in the drama include Bae Jong Ok, starring as Queen Sunwon. She is the late King Sunjo's wife, and holds the country's true power, which makes King Cheol jong her puppet. On the other hand, Kim Tae Woo portrays the character of Kim Jwa Geun, the younger sibling of Queen Sunwon he is a very ambitious man.

In the previous episode, Kim So Yong tries to get by and adjust with living in the palace, although his character is a free-spirited man who lives from the modern era. Therefore, when the queen had to spend the night with the king after their wedding, she proposed the "no touching" rule.
One day, she decided to sneak out of the palace dressing like a man, and unexpectedly bumped into King Cheoljong, who is disguised as someone else! However, the king's friends recognized her. They also misunderstood her motive as to why she was there in the first place. So during the last part of the previous episode, she was being chased down by the king in an attempt to kill her.
In the newly released stills, Kim So Yong and King Cheol jong crossed paths, each disguising as another person. They have a tense encounter as Cheol jong points out his sword at the queen. He then stares at her strikingly as he studies her nervous face.

Kim So Yong felt shocked and flustered as she avoids eye contact. She also didn't dare to provoke him. King Cheol jong, on the other hand, suspects that the queen has been stalking him, but actually, Kim So Yong is just worried about herself since she might get caught sneaking out of the palace.

Another set of stills features Kim So Yong boasting her exceptional cooking skills. In fact, the Queen doesn't appear in the royal kitchen so the palace servants panics as she suddenly showed up out the blue. The queen then pushes up her sleeves and boasts her experience as a chef in the modern world and creates a superb dish. Her royal subjects can't contain their amazement.
