Moon Ga Young Stays by Cha Eun Woo's Side after the Horrific Accident in tvN's "True Beauty"
tvN's Korean drama hit "True Beauty" is based on a webtoon of the same name. The author, Yaongyi, depicts a coming of age romantic comedy about a teenage girl named Lim Ju Gyeong, portrayed by Moon Ga Young, who has an inferiority complex about her looks where she often gets bullied for. Transferring to another school, she learns the magic of make-up and uses it to her advantage.
Lim Ju Gyeong becomes the most attractive girl in her new school without her friends knowing what she really looks like without makeup. However, a popular and standoffish student named Lee Su Ho, portrayed by Cha Eun Woo, finds out about her secret, and together, they develop deep feelings for each other, accepting each other's flaws. Together, they both figure out how to heal from their emotional wounds.
Meanwhile, the recently-released trailer of the next episode shows how Lim Ju Gyeong, without makeup, frantically runs to the hospital after hearing about Lee Su Ho's accident. Full of worry, Lim Ju Gyeong stays by Lee Su Ho's side as he recovers.
Han Seo Jun, portrayed by Hwang In Yeop, secretly having feelings for Lim Ju Gyeong, painfully watches her with Lee Su Ho's side. In other previews, a true heart-fluttering scene is shown when Lim Ju Gyeong hugs Lee Su Ho as she cries to him.
The previews show the development of the relationship between Lim Ju Gyeong and Lee Su Ho after the latter somehow manages to get up again after the accident.
Other scenes show Lee Su Ho's dad, Lee Joo Heon, portrayed by Jung Joon Ho, visiting him in his hospital bed where Lee Su Ho gets furious. Lee Su Ho confronts his dad about his crimes and is filled with anger, creating a tension-filled scene.
Incapable of keeping his anger, Lee Su Ho falls into his bed due to the sudden outburst. Stills of the father and son make the public curious about how their relationship will come to be in future episodes.
In the previous episode, Lee Su Ho found out that his dad used Jung Se Yeon, portrayed by SF9's Chani, as a distraction from his dad's own scandal. This causes Lee Su Ho to run off causing Han Seo Jun to chase after him where they both get hit by a car.
Will Lim Ju Gyeong continue to stay by Lee Su Ho's side up until the end? Will Lee Su Ho and Han Seo Jun's friendship resurface? Viewers are clouded by curiousity about what will become of the characters in the future.
