Kim Min Jae Confirms Appearance in KBS New Drama ‘Dal Li and Gamja-tang’
Handsome actor Kim Min Jae has recently confirmed his next acting project!
An industry representative reported on March 9 that the actor was offered to star as the main lead of the new KBS 2TV drama titled "Dal Li and Gamja-tang". Upon hearing this news, Kim Min Jae's agency confirmed that the actor has accepted the offer to star in the new KBS drama "Dal Li and Gamja-tang".
Kim Min Jae's Character in "Dal Li and Gamja-tang"
"Dal Li and Gamja-tang" is a romantic drama series that will feature the love story of a man and a woman who are two exact opposites. Kim Min Jae will portray the character of Jin Mu Hak, a man who was born from a family who's running a tiny gamja-tang (spicy pork backbone stew) restaurant and eventually grew into the global food corporation DonDon F&B.

He is the director of the company, but Kim Min Jae is far from being a perfect man as he is not that intelligent and was always in the last place of his class ranking when he was still in school. He plans to take hold of an art museum that was originally owned by a woman named Kim Dal Li. During his attempt to seize the museum, he crosses paths with Kim Dal Li and eventually ends up falling in love with her.

It was previously revealed way back in January 2021, that actress Park Gyu Young will possibly star as the female lead as Kim Dal Li. However, there is no confirmation yet from the actress's side. The drama will be penned by Son Eun Hye and helmed by Lee Jung Sub.

Kim Min Jae's Humble Beginning in the Entertainment Industry
South Korean actor and rapper Kim Min Jae became widely recognized for his portrayal in numerous television series namely "Second 20s" (2015), "My First Time" (2015), "Dr. Romantic" (2016), "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" (2016), "Tempted" (2018), "Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency" (2019), "Dr. Romantic 2" (2020), and "Do You Like Brahms?" (2020).

Kim Min Jae started his career as an actor through the 2014 joint South Korean-Vietnamese drama "Forever Young". This was followed by a cameo appearance in the tvN drama titled "I Need Romance 3"(2014) he portrayed the character of an idol singer getting ready for his debut.
Kim Min Jae was cast in Mnet's drama "Perseverance Goo Hae Ra" in 2015 after attending several auditions. He then portrayed a cameo role in KBS2's drama "The Producers" starring as one of 2 Days & 1 Night - Season 5 cast members. The same year (2015) the Kim joined the rap competition "Show Me the Money 4" as a contestant.

Fast forward to the year 2020, Kim Min Jae reprised his role of Park Eun Tak in "Dr. Romantic 2". Then this was followed by his latest drama "Do You Like Brahms"? in which he portrayed the character of a world-renowned pianist.
