SBS Releases First Teaser for "Do You Like Brahms?" Starring Kim Min Jae and Park Eun Bin
SBS dropped first look at the upcoming drama "Do You Like Brahms?" starring Kim Min Jae and Park Eun Bin.
In character as Park Joon Young, Kim Min Jae plays Robert Schumann's "Traumerei" as Chae Song Ah (Park Eun Bin) watches quietly from the door with a stunned expression on her face. Both of them, albeit separately, seemed to be immersed in sound of the music.
Park Eun Bin can be heard providing narration in the first teaser, saying, "On that day, I knew through this person. Because of this special person who introduced me to music first before his words. Whatever happens, though I get hurt again and again. I knew on that day that I will keep loving."
"Do You Like Brahms?" tackles two young music students at a prestigious school. Park Joon Young is a known pianist, who gained popularity and won multiple international competitions. He doesn't know anything in life except playing the piano. Then, something changes his emotions that takes his life into chaos.
Chae Song Ah, on the other hand, is a 4th-year university student and studies to become a violinist. She started schooling later than her usual classmates - she is seven years older. She wishes to pursue her dreams, though some things confused her towards her future career and love life.
This will be the first SBS Monday-Tuesday drama in almost two months.
In the video, Kim Min Jae showed visuals while playing the piano, as if he was a professional. With the high level of concentration that can be felt from the stills, this reflected on Kim Min Jae's determination. It's evident that he's truly invested in his role.
The actor shared that he began practicing playing the piano soon after being cast as the lead role of the drama. During the filming, he takes each scene without a stand-in.
Park Eun Bin, the violinist Chae Song Ah, wears a sweet smile, dramatic eyes, and graceful appearance. Wherever she goes, she brings her violins with her.
According to the actress, she started taking violin lessons right after she was officially cast as a violinist. Park Eun Bin is currently practicing hard to increase the level of immersion in the drama. Netizens commented that her posture while playing and holding the instruments is good and looks like a professional musician. She also looks like a young student with her pretty face, considering that she is 27 years.
Fans are excited to see the actress portray a different role from her previous character in "Hot Stove League" as a tough manager.
SBS's "Do You Like Brahms?" will air in August 2020.
