‘Vincenzo’ Episode 9 Recap: 2PM's Taecyeon Reveals His Monstrous Side

No more gimmicks. No more a child's play. 2PM's Taecyeon's horrifying villanous side in "Vincenzo" Episode 9 signals the real war between him and Song Joong Ki.

At the latter part of Episode 8, Hong Cha Young (Jeon Yeo Bin) vowed to expose Choi Myung Hee (Kim Yeo Jin) and the Babel Group's illegal acts and its connection to the prosecution. She and Vincenzo Cassano (Song Joong Ki) confidently walked out of the mobbing crowd, giving each other a satisfying grin.

The two went to a bar to celebrate their win and plan their next step.

Dr. Gil Jong Moon (Hong Seo Jun) called Jang Joon Woo (Taecyeon) and demanded from him a big sum of money be sent into his account, or else he'd reveal his true identity. Jang Joon Woo agreed. But when their call ended, the Babel Group chairman seemed to have something else in mind.

Vincenzo Showed Oh Gyeong Ja He Cares Despite Trying to Hide It

Hong Cha Young paid a visit to Oh Gyeong Ja (Yoon Bok In) at the hospital. Ms. Oh profusely thanked the Jipuragi team for helping her.

While they were talking, doctors arrived and told Ms. Oh she doesn't need medication. Surprisingly, Vincenzo appeared and complained about the kind of service that the hospital provides to the patient. He also scolded Ms. Oh Gyeong Ja and told her to get properly treated. Then, he walked out.

Ms. Oh was shocked about the sudden gesture of Vincenzo towards her, but at the same time, she felt warmed by his scolding. Hong Cha Young is already getting a hunch why Vincenzo shows care for her client.

The Real Monster Inside Jang Joon Woo Finally Revealed Itself

Jang Joon Woo lost his patience towards Chief Prosecutor Hwang Jin Tae (Seo Jin Won), whom the Babel Group wanted to seal a partnership with. With the help of his brother Jan Han Seo (Kwak Dong Yeon), he was able to abduct Hwang Jin Tae and Mr. Seo Woong Ho (Hwang Tae Kwang).

A masked Jang Joon Woo entered the room with his hockey stick, and aggressively smashed Mr. Seo Woong Ho's head that caused him to die on the spot. Jang Han Seo, Choi Myung Hee, and Han Seung Hyeok were shocked and petrified by the chairman's doing, who was repeatedly hitting the dead, bloodied body with his hockey stick.

Dreadful, Hwang Jin Tae surrendered himself to them and promised to do comply with their requests.

After having a warm dinner with the victims' families, who, they have gotten close to, Vincenzo took Hong Cha Young home after he sensed men tailing them. Minutes after she got inside her house, Hong Cha Young screamed at a masked stranger trying to harm her. Vincenzo was quick to rescue her, and the two helped each other to beat the two masked men.

Because of the damages in the house, Vincenzo advised Hong Cha Young she should stay somewhere safe.

Despite constant refusals, she ended up staying at Vincenzo's apartment because she was too scared of being alone. They ate ramyeon before heading to bed, and Hong Cha Young asked mafia-related questions before the two fell into slumber.

Meanwhile, Jan Han Seo confessed to Jang Joon Woo he was the one behind the attempt to hurt Hong Cha Young. This made the Babel Group chairman furious and worried. He then video-called his sunbae and found out she spent the night in Vincenzo's house, making Jang Joon Woo jealous.

Vincenzo and Hong Cha Young were Fueled by Rage and Pain

As their investigation continued, Vincenzo and Hong Cha Young kept on receiving both negative and positive news. They had the opportunity to meet Gil Jong Moon's lawyer and talked about things where both parties could help each other to get rid of the Babel Group.

After deliberating, the lawyer finally agreed to commence with Vincenzo and Hong Cha Young's plan, not by the book. But when the Jipuragi squad arrived at the mansion where Gil Jong Moon was hiding, they were shocked to see dead bodies inside, including Gil Jong Moon's.

Hong Cha Young also received a bizarre text message from the victims' families, apologising that they couldn't handle the sadness of losing their family members. They also asked the Jipuragi team to be more understanding for doing something extreme.

Vincenzo and Hong Cha Young drove to a meadow, and saw that the families were dead inside the car they used for their supposed trip. The two were fueled by rage as they looked at the lifeless bodies from afar.

Tension starts to arise, and hidden identities are about to be revealed. After spritzing much humor and comedic relief in Episode 8, "Vincenzo" Episode 9 signals the start of the real war between the Jipuragi team and the Babel Group.
