‘Youth of May’ Tease Fans with the Newest Official Group Poster Featuring Lee Do Hyun, Go Min Si, Lee Sang Yi and Geum Sae Rok

"Youth of May" released another heartwarming teaser ahead of its premiere.

For weeks, KBS2 TV continues to update fans with new stills flaunting the show's stunning visuals that piqued the audience's interest.

Over the broadcasting network's official Instagram, "Youth of May" dropped their latest group photo featuring lead stars Lee Do Hyun, Go Min Si, Lee Sang Yi, and Geum Sae Rok.

Interestingly, the teaser photo hints about the characters' unfortunate fate as the four main stars gazed in a different direction.

Fans lauded the upcoming drama's new official poster as most viewers say that they can't wait to watch the melodrama show.

The same goes over Twitter as fans expressed their excitement for the "Youth of May's" premiere.

On the other hand, an individual also highlighted the resemblance of the KBS drama and "A Piece of Your Mind" visuals.

"Youth of May" Cast and Release

Set to debut on May 3, the romance melodrama is helmed by "Doctor Prisoner" director Song Min Yeop and written by Lee Kang.

Set in the 1980s, it depicts the story of two individuals who were caught up in one of the most remarkable histories in South Korea, the Gwangju Uprising.

Hwang Hee Tae, played by Lee Do Hyun, was described as a troublemaker who lives on "a war on prejudice." Despite this, he managed to break the stigma against the children raised by single mothers by earning top grades and was able to enter the prestigious Seoul National University College of Medicine.

On the other hand, Lee D Hyun is reunited with his "Sweet Home" co-star, Go Min Si, who portrays the hard-working and skillful nurse named Kim Myung Hee.

She faced a challenging situation after choosing to move to Gwangju all by herself.

There, Kim Myung Hee also met her best friend Lee Soo Ryun, played by Geum Sae Rok. Unlike her friend, she comes from a wealthy family but opted for a different direction and chose to help her friend achieve her dreams.

Meanwhile, she has an older brother named Lee Sang Yi, portrayed by Lee Soo Chan. he studied abroad but came back to South Korea and was caught up in a dangerous deal with Hwang Hee Tae's family.

Aside from the four leads, the "Youth of May" cast also includes Uhm Hyo Sub, who will act as Soo Ryun and Soo Chan's father, Lee Chang Geun.

Oh Man Suk and Shim Yi Young will be Hee Tae's parents while Kim Won Hae is set to play Myung Hee's father, Kim Hyun Cheol.
