'Move To Heaven' Drops First Official Trailer + Girls' Generation Soo Young to Join The Cast
There are some exciting updates for fans awaiting the release of the upcoming k-drama, "Move to Heaven." Girl's Generation Soo Young is confirmed as the newest cast member, plus the first official trailer was just released.
Girl's Generation Soo Young Joins 'Move to Heaven' Cast
On April 30, GIrl's Generation Soo Young's agency, Saram Entertainment, confirmed the news that she will be part of the upcoming Netflix series. The confirmation was made through the media outlet Newsen.
Apart from this, however, it is not yet revealed what role she will be playing. What is known is that her character has the name of Son Yu Rim.
Fans of the artist were quite excited, posting their messages of glee in their social media accounts.
The reaction to this news is quite unsurprising, given the fact that as part of the Girl's Generation, she has already amassed quite a following. Choi Soo Young, the artist's complete name, debuted in 2007 as part of the girl group from SM Entertainment. Back then, it was quite an unassuming group just raring to entertain and showcase their talents. However, it was grown quite exponentially, so much so that individually, the members of the girl group also became popular in their own right.

Soo Young, eventually became an actress, revealing through her solid portfolio of drama projects that she can act as much as she can dance and sing. Her roles in dramas such as "Unstoppable Marriage," "Dating Agency: Cyrano," "38 Task Force," "Tell Me What You Saw," among others, were all quite memorable.
Her latest projects include the 2020 drama "Run On" with Im Shi Wan, Shin Se Kyung, and Kang Tae Oh. Before her joining "Move to Heaven" was announced, it was already revealed that she's presently working on "So I Married an Anti-Fan" with Choi Tae Joon. This drama is also set to drop this year.
'Move to Heaven' First Official Trailer
"Move To Heaven" is directed by Kim Sung Ho and the script is to be handled by Yoon Ji Ryun. Fans who watched "Boys Over Flowers" would know that the script for that show was written by JI Ryun.
Based on the previous synopsis given, the upcoming drama will tell the story of Gue Roo and their family business, "Move to Heaven." The bulk of this business goes to assisting the things left by people who already passed away.
Han Geu Roo, the protagonist, is a young man with Asperger's syndrome. Despite his ailment, he is the main assistant of his dad in running this business. When Gue Roo's father himself passed away his uncle Jo Sang Goo appeared and suddenly became his guardian, which can create some challenges to his life.

Choi Soo Young can be described as joining an already quite star-studded show. The rest of the cast members for this series are Lee Je Hoon, Tang Jun Sang, Ji Jin Hee, Hong Seung Hee, and Shin Soo Oh, and many more others.
"Move to Heaven" will premiere on May 14 on Netflix.
