‘Taxi Driver’ Episode 10: Lee Je Hoon Utilizes His Oozing Charm to Expose a Voice Phishing Organization

Korean drama "Taxi Driver" featuring Lee Je Hoon and Esom is making waves not just in social media but has slowly captivated the audience's hearts with increasing viewership ratings.

This has cemented their spot as the reigning Friday and Saturday evening drama as they sustain a decent hold on the rating chart with the impressive portrayal and remarkable storyline.

"Taxi Driver" Episode 10 Recap

In the new episode of the SBS crime thriller drama, Lee Je Hoon, who plays Kim Do Ki, proved that he is a master of disguise.

"Taxi Driver" episode 10 shows how Do Ki poses as a wealthy businessman from Harbin, China named Mr. Wang and the group's new mission to infiltrate a voice phishing organization headed by Lim Bok Ja, portrayed by actress Shim So Young.

The drama continues with Prosecutor Kang Ha Na (Esom) visiting the Rainbow Taxi company to check on Do Ki but found out that he was on vacation alongside his other colleagues.

Luckily for the feisty prosecutor, she happened to bump into Choi Kyung Goo (Jang Hyuk Jin), who was looking dashing due to his disguise. Kang Ha Na asked him if he is on vacation too, to which he denied.

However, he saw Choi Kyung Goo riding a different taxi cab and followed him to his destination.

Upon reaching the port, he told Ahn Go Eun (Pyo Ye Jin) that he couldn't proceed with the plan because he was being followed by the prosecutor.

Mr. Wang Wooed Madam Lim with his Charm

"Taxi Driver" episode 10 also showed how the Rainbow taxi member Park Jin-Eon (Bae Yoo Ram) struggled with his disguise as an employee of Madam Lin's organization.

It came after he successfully called a ton of victims through the help of Ahn Go Eun. However, Lim Bok Ja learned that the newcomer was able to steal a small amount of money that can't even buy a single burner phone.

This has prompted madam Lin to source more burner phones but seems to can't find her luck.

Meanwhile, the gang learned that Mr. Wang is in the restaurant. During their conversation, the flashy entrepreneur tried to woo her by mentioning that he was also from Harbin and showered her compliments.

She then tried to make a transaction by asking him to sell his burner phone to her, but Mr. Wang mentioned that he made a deal with someone - it turns out that it was Lim Bok Ja's rival group.

The gang boss insulted Madam Lin, but since Kim Do Ki had a goal to get to her good side, he defended her and threatened the rival gang leader not to lay his hands on Madam Lin.

Interestingly, with charismatic looks, she seems to fall head over heels in Kim Do Ki's trap as the duo went on their first date.

Madam Lin and Mr. Wang bonded over a snow crab date as he helped open a shell for her.

The Sacrificial Lamb

Park Jin Eon ( Bae Yoo Ram) 's disguise was busted after one of Madam Lin's men heard that he spoke to someone regarding the organization's illegal transaction.

He was presented to Madam Lin, who was about to kill him but luckily, Mr. Wang appeared, saying that he was a cop, who caused his transaction to fail, making him lose all his money and his group.

To gain the trust of Madam Lin, Do Ki and the rest of the group staged a scene where Park Jin Eon was thrown out in the ocean.

Kim Do Ki Gets the Upper Hand

With Ahn Go Eun's astounding hacking skills, the voice phishing organization failed to victimize innocent people and slowly lost their transactions, which made Madam Lin very furious.

At her headquarters, his men barged into his office, saying that they haven't received any salaries yet. At this time, Madam Lin received a notification error from her bank regarding her account password and believed that someone is messing with her.

On her way to the bank, he bumped into Mr. Wang, who previously mentioned that he would be leaving the area after being hunted by a prosecutor.

There, she was shocked after learning that her bank account was emptied. She then asked help from Mr. Wang, telling her that she also wanted to escape the area.

At the boat, Madam Lin was surprised upon seeing his men, who were also locked up in the vessel. There, Kim Do Ki revealed the truth and mentioned that this revenge is for all the countless people that the group has been scammed.
