In the new still cuts of the top rating drama, SBS released its first teaser showing the women of Hera Palace and their new life in prison.
"Penthouse 3" Teaser: Shin Eun Kyung and Yoon Joo Hee Struggles in Prison
Based on the series of photos, it appears that Shin Eun Kyung and Yoon Joo Hee, who plays Kang Ma Ri and Go Sang Ah, are struggling to cope with their new environment.
Far from their elegant and classy looks during their reign at Hera Palace, both are now wearing prison overalls and doing chores inside their cell.
Based on the season finale of "Penthouse 2," the duo was sentenced to one and a half years imprisonment due to their involvement with Min Seol Ah's murder case, which Jo Soo Min portrayed.
Aside from Kang Ma Ri and Go Sang Ah, fellow Hera Palace tenants Joo Dan Tae (Uhm Ki Joon,) Ha Yoon Chul (Yoon Jong Hoon,) Lee Gyu Jin ( Bong Tae Kyu), and Cheon Seo Jin (Kim So Yeon) were also put behind bars due to previous crimes.
Who is Kang Ma Ri and Go Sang Ah in "Penthouse: War in Life"
Prior to the group's imprisonment, Kang Ma Ri lived a double life.
The second season of the SBS drama uncovered her secret. She has been working as a masseuse at a spa house where the wealthy and powerful chairwomen known as the "three queens" are her regular clientele.
She managed to keep her secret by dressing up elegantly just to earn respect and trust of the people in Hera Palace.
Meanwhile, Go Sang Ah is the supportive wife of Assemblyman Lee Gyu Jin, who lives at the expense of her husband and son.
Just like Kang Ma Ri, Go Sang Ah tried to impress others by showing off flashy clothes and buying properties that she knew they couldn't afford.

"Penthouse 3" Video Teaser
Earlier this week, the SBS released a short video teaser featuring the possible hints at the upcoming season.
The "Penthouse 3" teaser unveiled some recognizable clues that include a butterfly tattoo, Chungah arts trophy, Hera Palace's famous statue, and an apple necklace that belonged to Min Seol Ah.
With this, fans speculate that Jo Soo Min might have a comeback for the upcoming season.
"Penthouse 3" Release Date
Back in April, the broadcasting network announced that "Penthouse 3" had started filming on the 27th.
Moreover, the much-awaited season is scheduled to premiere on June 4, airing every Friday, with a total of only 11 episodes.
Most actors and actresses will reprise their roles plus two new additions--On Joo Wan and Park Ho San.
The two previously made their first appearance in the season finale of "Penthouse 2," which played a huge part in Logan Lee's death.
