K-Drama ‘Hospital Playlist 2’ Drops Official Poster + Illustrates Heartwarming Friendship Between 5 Lead Stars
Korean drama "Hospital Playlist 2" continues to tease the viewers with heartwarming stills featuring lead stars Jo Jung Suk, Yoo Yeon Seok, Jung Kyung Ho, Kim Dae Myung, and Jeon Mi Do.
With just three weeks away from the premiere, tvN unveiled the drama's main poster flaunting the strong friendship of the five medical students turned doctors who work at Yulje Medical Center.
Apart from their doctor's uniform, the official poster featured the main cast sporting bright-colored outfits that illustrate their personalities.
"The poster for 99s on their way home from work," the caption reads.
To recall, the group was also called the "' 99-ers." This is in reference to the year that they all entered and met in medical school.

"Hospital Playlist 2" Details
As the much-anticipated drama continues, "Hospital Playlist 2" follow the story of best friends Ik Joon (Jo Jung Suk), Seok Hyung (Kim Dae Myung), Jung Won (Yoo Yeon Seok), Jun Wan (Jung Kyung Ho), and Song Hwa (Jeon Mi Do) who finds happiness in their career.
Helmed by Shin Won Ho and written by Lee Woo Jung, the forthcoming drama is slated to premiere on June 17, airing every Thursday with 12 episodes.
Based on their previous teasers, it hints about the ordinary lives of five doctors that would bring comfort and joy to the viewers by making them laugh and cry at the same time.
"Hospital Playlist 2" Cast Shares Thoughts about the Upcoming Sequel
The cast members and production crew of the tvN drama started the year by gearing up for a new season.
At the script reading, the whole team was thrilled as they reunited with their fellow co-stars.
PD Shin Won Ho began the gathering by welcoming everyone. Moreover, he also suggested that season two will showcase "simple and everyday stories" with even more "warmth and depth" to the characters.
Meanwhile, the production crew also lauded the chemistry between the director and screenwriter Lee Woo Jung together with the actors who displayed "amazing teamwork" in the previous season.
Jo Jung Suk Shares the Working Relationship Between "Hospital Playlist 2" Cast
One of the main cast, Jo Jung Suk, expressed his excitement and admitted that he waited for the second season just like the fans.
In addition, he promised to do his best and "deliver small but warm comfort to the viewers."
As for his relationship with his fellow actors, the "Two Cops" actor shared that the whole team, including actors and staff, "developed great teamwork during Season 1."
"Now that we are filming for Season 2, we already have great synergy to the point that we can read each other's emotions," he explained.
On the other hand, Jung Kyung Ho suggested that the storyline is better in season 2. Furthermore, he promised that the team would repay the audience "with a drama that provides them with a bit of comfort and solace."
