‘Penthouse 3’ Teaser Features Han Ji Hyun’s Struggle Outside Hera Palace
"Penthouse 3" episode 8 hints at Han Ji Hyun's character transformation as she finds herself in an unfamiliar place.
After canceling their July 23 airing due to the 2020 Toyo Olympics, the top rating suspense thriller drama is back to give the fans another round of surprising episodes.
The latest still cuts released by SBS features Joo Seok Kyung, played by the 25-year-old actress being bullied by an all-female gang lead by Il Jun, portrayed by Lee Yu Bi.
In a series of teasers, it illustrates how Seok Kyung hit her rock bottom -- from being the Cheong-A Arts School queen bee to being locked up and victimized by a group of angry teens.
Joo Dan Tae Gets Rid of Joo Seok Kyung
Interestingly, the new character was introduced in episode 7 after Joo Seok Kyung woke up inside a cell and being pushed around by Il Jun's group.
At the time, she thought that she was moving to Italy to study with the help of Joo Dan Tae.
Knowing Joo Dan Tae (Uhm Ki Joon,) who only wants the best for himself, Seok Kyung realized that his father tricked him and wants to get rid of her.

Shim Su Ryeon Discovered Oh Yoon Hee's Message
Prior to this scene, "Penthouse 3" uncovers Shim Su Ryeon's (Lee Ji Ah) real daughter.
As she tries to decode the message of Oh Yoon Hee (Eugene), she receives a message from the police telling her that they have found her belongings--this includes a watch with the recording of her final words.
Upon getting it fixed, Su Ryeon found out that her real daughter is still alive.
"Seok Kyung is your biological daughter. Seok Kyung is Min Seol Ah's twin sister," she revealed and asked her to take care of her daughter, Bae Ro Na, as well.
This revelation made Shim Su Ryeon stunned and speechless.
K-Drama "Penthouse 3" Reportedly Having an Episode Extension
Earlier this month, rumors sparked that "Penthouse 3: War in Life" will be extended.
It came after OSEN noted that a source from SBS claims that the Friday night series might be extended for another episode.
"I've heard that there was a proposal to extend 'The Penthouse 3' to 13 episodes from the original 12 episodes, so they're discussing the matter. Nothing has been revealed about the exact ending so far."
Seemingly, a representative from SBS cleared the rumors and stated that "nothing" has been confirmed.
In addition, the production crew and "Penthouse 3" cast members have initially signed a 12-episode contract.
To recall, the two previous seasons of the SBS drama have also been extended, concluding "Penthouse "with 14 episodes, while the second has 13 episodes.
The third season is set to the finale of the "Penthouse: War in Life" series that made a lot of viewers hooked with the never-ending revenge of the Hera Palace people.
It stars Eugene, Lee Ji Ah, Uhm Ki Joon, and Kim So Yeon, who recently bagged the Best Actress category at the 2021 Baeksang Arts Awards for her role as the primadonna Cheon Seo Jin.
