Moon Ga Young a South Korean actress, attended the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards, a star-studded red carpet ceremony celebrating achievements in film, TV, and theater held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on May 8. She sported a daring red gown that received mixed reactions online.

According to Koreaboo, Moon Ga Young, also known as Mun Ka Young, is no stranger to wearing revealing or sexy outfits, having recently appeared in lingerie style looks on various occasions. For this year's Baeksang Awards, she chose a striking red gown featuring a deep plunging neckline and an extremely high leg slit.
The actress opted for a natural look with her hair in loose curls, but some netizens didn't like the styling choice, especially her hair, saying it didn't go well with the sexy dress. Comments online showed opinions were divided. Many raved about Moon's beauty but some thought the sexy image didn't suit her well.
Critics pointed out that her body language seemed awkward and shy, as if she was uncomfortable or reluctant to wear such an outfit.
One popular comment read, "Her hair and makeup seriously...I really love Moon Ga-young, but I honestly didn't like her hair and makeup today."
Another comment said, "She always dresses according to the style she's going for, but her attitude gives off this awkward, embarrassed vibe like she was forced to wear it, and I just don't get it.."
The comment continued, "If you're going to show a plunging neckline, covering it with long hair makes the attitude feel too timid. I think it would've had more impact if she'd focused on either the chest line or the leg line, rather than both. When wearing revealing outfits, it'd probably help to study poses and hand placement more, too. Sex appeal comes from confidence and presence."
Meanwhile, a coverage from Metro said that actress Mun Ka-young won Best Actress at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards for her film debut in Once We Were Us. During her acceptance speech, she thanked the film's crew, her agency, co-stars, and especially Koo Kyo-hwan for his support on set.
Mun also reflected on her 20th debut anniversary, expressing gratitude to everyone who helped shape her career and promising to continue growing as an actress. She ended by thanking audiences for their love and said she hopes to keep portraying meaningful characters in the future.
