In preparation for his upcoming small-screen return, actor Park Hae Jin starts to learn a new skill and makes an effort to fully immerse himself in the role of a magician.

Park Hae Jin Starts to Learn Magic with Lee Eun Gyul

Korean news outlet, Newsis reported on August 12 that the "Kkondae Intern" star met the Korean Illusionist Lee Eun Gyul to familiarize himself with a new skill.

Park Hae Jin teamed up with Lee Eun Gyul to unleash the hidden magician in him. They met at the production company somewhere in Seoul. The Korean Illusionist has spent hours in class with Park Hae Jin in order to further discuss every detail and information that the actor needs to know.

Lee Eun Gyul also prepared various magic video clips and simple hand movements for Park Hae Jin to learn. The K-drama actor was focused and very determined in learning everything first hand.

According to the report, this is not the only class that Park Hae Jin will attend. The "Cheese in the Trap" actor is scheduled to learn magic through weekly classes to fully immerse himself into becoming a real magician.

Park Hae Jin to star as a magician named Cha Cha Woong in MBC's new drama "From Now, Showtime." It is a fantasy-romance drama that illustrates the stories of a famous and loving magician and a strict female police officer.

Recently, "The Secret Life of My Secretary" actress Jin Ki Joo confirmed her participation in the upcoming drama with actor Park Hae Jin. She takes the role of a mysterious police officer.

This is the first time that Park Hae Jin will be playing the role of a magician, far from his previous romance dramas. The actor himself is also excited for the drama, same as with the K-drama enthusiasts who are waiting for his small-screen comeback.

"From Now, Showtime" is scheduled to premiere in the first half of 2022.

The upcoming Netflix's original series "The Sound of Magic" will also center its story about magicians. In addition, actor Ji Chang Wook will lead the said drama project.
