Song Ji Hyo Hints for ‘The Witch’s Diner’ Season 2
TVING's fantasy series "The Witch's Diner" ended its broadcast with a success. Lead actress Song Ji Hyo sat for an online interview to share her thoughts about the drama and the possibility of having another season of it.
Song Ji Hyo's Drama Comeback The Witch's Diner Was a Success
The "Running Man" host started the interview with a smile and enthusiasm.
It's been a year since she did drama production. And working again for a short series feels like it was her first time in the field. But seeing how the drama was being processed made her feel at ease and satisfied, "I was able to see the final episode of the drama comfortably, and I also wanted to see the viewers' reactions towards the series."
Song Ji Hyo is known for her friendly and pleasant personality, but she had to hide it for a while to immerse herself in the role of a witch. She showed a classic transformation as the witch Jo Hee Ra. With her magnificent overall look from costumes, makeup, and on point expressions, Song Ji Hyo portrayed the role delicately.

Song Ji Hyo Wishes the World to be COVID Free
According to her, she just did what she needed to do but Song Ji Hyo was most thankful for all the staff who put a lot of effort into making her character and the whole drama look great from the beginning until the end.
In the drama she granted peoples' wishes, and during the interview, Song Ji Hyo was asked, if she could be given a chance to wish for something, what would it be?
"The Witch's Diner" actress answered, "If I will be wishing for something, that is for the Coronavirus to end already. I miss the simple life of spending time with my friends and family."
Will There Be The Witch's Diner Season 2?
TVING's "The Witch's Diner" just had eight episodes, and even though it was a short series, the viewers had enjoyed watching its weekly broadcast. Many were entertained with the concept of the series and other fans are looking forward to another season of the drama.
However, Jo Hee Ra (Song Ji Hyo) already handed over the restaurant to Jung Jin (Nam Ji Hyun), some are wondering what role Song Ji Hyo will play if given the chance that a new season is about to happen.
Regarding this, the "Was it Love" star said, "If there will be a chance I would definitely appear in Season 2. It's Jin's witch restaurant now, but if Jo Hee Ra can help, I am willing to appear again."
As of now, there are no definite announcement yet whether there will be another season of "The Witch's Diner," but if given the chance, the cast are all willing to work again together in the future.
