Everyone in the village huddled up together to mourn her death. Doo Sik, who had been Gam Ri's son, grandson, and friend, felt his world crashing down together.
However, Doo Sik encourages the Gongjin residents not to be saddened, instead, celebrate Gam Ri's legacy and life with wide smiles and delicious food.

Things became a bit better for the people in Gongjin after a month. They have started to do the things they would usually do daily.
For Mi Seon (Gong Min Jeung) and Eun Cheol (Kang Hyung Seok), dating each other became much easier when they opened up to one another.
While dining in a nearby restaurant, Mi Seon checks her lotto ticket, hoping for a miracle and winning the pot money.

However, sullen paints her face as her winning lotto numbers were the ones that appeared in the previous week.
To cheer her up, her boyfriend Eun Cheol asks her what she'd do with the money if ever she wins the lottery. The dental hygienist answers with honesty and wishes to buy a house.
To her surprise, Eun Cheol has his plans laid out one by one in front of her. He then reveals the identity of the winner of the lottery.
The third Gongjin mystery and lottery winner, Eun Cheol, promises to give Mi Seon a great life full of love while providing the things they need once they start their own family.
Yoon Hye Jin and Hong Doo Sik Promise Each Other a Lifetime
The overbearing dentist and free-spirited all-around handyman's story is indeed one of the best love stories that exist in this generation. Despite the rocky start, the two navigated their way to each other's hearts, not minding their individual and societal differences.
Over the course of their relationship, Hye Jin and Doo Sik finally get to know each other really well. From their dislikes, to their favorite food and hobbies, and how they react to certain things. Love and trust became their relationship's foundations.
Because Hye Jin sees Doo Sik as the right man for her, she decides to propose a lifetime to him. Unbeknownst to her, Doo Sik is also planning to propose to her, beating him to it.

Despite all the struggles and heartaches, Hye Jin and Doo Sik promised each other a lifetime full of happiness, contentment and love in the small, peaceful seaside village of Gongjin.
