'Yumi's Cells' Episode 14 Highlights: Goo Woong Understands Kim Yumi's Decision to Take a Break
"Yumi's Cells" finale continues with Yumi's decision for them to spend time apart. Despite her choice to take a break, she was confused by Goo Woong's reaction.
It came after he accepted it calmly and told Yumi that he "gets it."
Meanwhile, at Sepho Village, everyone was angry about Emotion cell. It's because she usually makes big decisions and often gets swept up by her emotions.
The following day, it's good that Emotion cell was nocturnal, so Yumi won't have to think about Goo Woong at work - this will be her first day without Goo Woong as her boyfriend.
In the office, she starts her day by removing their picture at her desk. Of course, this was noticed by her officemate Mr. Kang, but she chose not to tell other people about her personal issues.
Yoo Bobby Senses Yumi's Heartbreak
Now the struggle comes after her shift.
Before, she usually looked forward to ending her day with Goo Woong; however, now that she's technically single, she has nowhere to be with after office, so she decides to go straight home.

At the bus stop, she felt that someone was looking at her. At first, she thought that it might be Goo Woong, but it turned out that it was Yoo Bobby.
Here, her officemate mentioned that he sensed that something was going on between Yumi and his boyfriend. But instead of involving himself, he got a piece of advice for Yumi so she could easily cope with the situation.
Does Yumi Regret Asking Woong for a Break from Their Relationship?
As she spends time alone at her house, she realizes how she misses Goo Woong. Still, she restricts herself from calling him because of her pride.
At one point, she asked herself, "Am I afraid that Woong will leave me?" or she is just afraid with the thought that she will feel loneliness again.
Interestingly, Yumi dreamt that she entered Sepho Village and recalled the bulletin board where she wrote her wish. In a small paper, she wrote that she wanted a happy ending with Woong; but Yumi was seen by the Bulletin board cell.
"I thought Woong was the leading man of my life," she said.
Bulletin board cell gave Yumi an interesting answer and told her that Goo Woong is not the leading man in her life.
"There's no set person for that role. There's only one leading person in this place," the cell explained, referring to Yumi, who is the sole captain of her life.
The Ending
As "Yumi's Cells" closes its book, episode 14 showcases the final decision of Yumi and Goo Woong. He asked Yumi to see him so they could talk about their relationship.
At the cafe, Goo Woong handed Yumi the "end relationship card" and explained that he and Yumi have different goals in life.
On the other hand, Yumi had two cards, the "breakup" and the "random" card, which means the decision will be based on the situation.
Although she was taken aback by Goo Woong's decision, she handed out the "breakup" card, meaning they ended up on amicable terms.
As for her romance with Woong, the relationship only lasted one year, one month and 4 days.
