The American adaptation of "W: Two Worlds," starring Lee Jong Suk and Han Hyo Joo, has confirmed its new title.

The mega-hit rom-com fantasy series is getting a remake after five years since it premiered.

Originally helmed by "I Am Not A Robot" director Jeong Dae Yun, the gender-bending drama follows the story of a woman named Oh Yeon Joo, played by Han Hyo Joo, and her strange experience of being sucked into a webtoon, created by her father.

During her bizarre journey in the unknown place, she meets a mysterious man named Kang Chul, played by Lee Jong Suk.

Months after confirming the remake, Deadline reported the new development regarding the much-awaited adaptation.

According to the outlet, the U.S remake will be titled "Angel City," penned by "Siren and Motherland: Fort Salem," writer Heather Thomason and Jen Braeden, who is the genius behind the "Love, Victor" series.

Interestingly, this will be their first scripted project under Craig Plestis, the executive producer of the popular variety show "The Masked Singer."

Meanwhile, the series will also be executive produced by Kameron Tarlow, Damon Wayans Jr, Corinne Brinkerhoff from "Jane the Virgin," and Tiffany Grant.

It is safe to say that this decision follows the success of several remakes, including the medical series "The Good Doctor," which was based on the 2013 Korean drama of the same name.

"It is the latest Korean format being developed in the U.S. following the likes of ABC's The Good Doctor, produced by Daniel Dae Kim, and HBO's TV adaptation of Parasite in the works. The country is obviously hot off the heels of Netflix's global smash Squid Game," Deadline wrote.

Although the upcoming adaptation bears a new title, the outlet cited that "Angel City" and "W: Two Worlds" will have similar stories but different character names.

To recall, multiple reports noted back in April that the blockbuster Kdrama will have its American remake, teaming up with CBS Studios, who produced several smash-hit series like "Gossip Girl," "Riverdale," and "The Vampire Diaries."
