Ok Taecyeon and Kim Hye Yoon's Humor and Overflowing Chemistry in 'Secret Royal Inspector & Joy'
The drama airs every Monday and Tuesday, and is praised for its star-studded lead cast. Prior to its premire, many already anticipated the series as it is Ok Taecyeon's small screen comeback following his spectacular performance in "Vincenzo." People also commend his chemistry with Kim Hye Yoon, and the rest of the cast.
"Secret Royal Inspector & Joy" is set in the Joseon Dynasty and tells the story of Ra Yi Eon (Ok Taecyeon), who has a simple dream of buying a small dumpling restaurant. But due to his intelligence, he starts to work at the Office of Special Advisors, a first-class course to become a government officer.
While doing his duty, Yi Eon meets Kim Joy (Kim Hye Yoon) who plans to dvorce her husband. They then start working together to solve the cases they encounter during their journey.

tvN's new series made a twist on its latest episode. Since it is a historical drama, it is expected that everything in it coincides with its traditional and old-age theme.

In "Secret Royal Inspector & Joy" episode 9, Yi Eon and Kim Joy were walking in the middle of a crowded place. As they strolled, Yi Eon stops and tells to Kim Joy, "Instead of going there, stay at my house." In a split second, 2PM's hit song "My House" chorus played.
Due to this sudden transition, viewers couldn't help but laugh and share the hilarious scene on various social media platforms. However, the song was already edited out during the rerun of the drama due to copyright.
Nonetheless, fans were quick to screen-record the whole scene and shared it on Twitter.
Meanwhile, Taecyeon's co-member Lee Junho made a promise to the viewers he would make a dance cover of the hit song once "The Red Sleeve Cuff" viewership ratings exceed 15 percent.
So far, Junho's series already surpassed double digit ratings with its episode 8. Fans now are anticipating to watch the idol-actor's solo performance while dressed as Crown Prince Yi San.
