Kim Hye Joon is in talks to star alongside Jung Hae In and Go Kyung Pyo for the upcoming Kdrama "Connect."

Apart from the roster of talented actors, the mystery series is gaining the viewers' attention because this will be helmed by the renowned Japanese director Takashi Miike.

According to Kim Hye Joon's agency, ANDMARQ Entertainment, the actress has received the offer and is "positively reviewing it."

As for her co-stars, both leading men haven't officially confirmed the offer but are positively looking into the upcoming project. 

Takashi Miike's Kdrama "Connect" highlights the story of a man whose body parts are stolen by alleged organ hunters. 

Interestingly, the mysterious person behind is also connected to the people who have received the organs. 

Known for his remarkable movies such as "Ichi the Killer," "Audition," and "13 Assassins," this will be the PD's first Kdrama project in his decades-long career as a director.

The 26-year-old actress stunned the Kdrama fandom with her impressive portrayal of the villain Queen in Netflix's "Kingdom" together with Bae Doona and Ju Ji Hoon. 

Following the blockbuster K-series, Kim Hye Joon starred in the comedy thriller "CHIP-IN" alongside Oh Na Ra. 

This 2021, fans witnessed how the South Korean beauty evolved as an actress. 

First, she is among the cast of the star-studded movie "Sinkhole," which raked millions of viewers during its release, making it this year's "fastest Korean film" to surpass one million moviegoers. 

She took on the role of Eun Joo, an intern who was trapped with her co-workers in a mysterious sinkhole.

Second is her recent Kdrama, "Inspector Koo" with Hallyu queen Lee Young Ae. 

In the comedy crime thriller series, she plays Song Yi Kyung, a university student whose alter ego is a serial killer named "K."
