People have been talking about Kim, 80, for a long time since it came out in 2021 that he was going to have a child with a woman who was 39 years younger than him.

At the time, the woman said that Kim had told her to have an abortion. Later, he admitted that he made that statement "out of fear" before ultimately deciding to take responsibility, according to Koreaboo.

Later that year, a child was born, and a DNA test in 2022 proved that Kim was the father. He has since accepted his son and has been co-parenting, but people still have different opinions about it.

In the teaser for Kim's latest TV appearance, he talked to his daughter-in-law, actress Hwang Bo Ra. During the conversation, he almost called his grandson by the name of his youngest son.

A short break in the conversation made Kim mix up names, which caught the attention of both viewers and the cast.

"My little one's name is Si On. He's grown a bit now, so rather than me taking care of him, I end up following him around," Kim said, showing a sweet and honest moment about being a dad.

Before talking more about his younger son, Kim thought about how time has changed his place in the family.

"Woo In is still a baby, so you have to keep your eyes on him. But my boy's already six years old," Kim said, emphasizing how fast his son has grown. Kim also reminisced about good memories from the past, such as when his youngest child was full of energy.

Kim's casual comment revealed the name "Si On," a detail that hadn't been widely known outside of social circles. People online had many different reactions to the moment because they were impressed by how open the actor was about his personal life.

News1 has reported that this new look comes as Kim continues to deal with both his job and how people see his private life.

Social media has shared the "Joseon's Lover" teaser, which includes Kim's comments. It has gotten a lot of attention because it shows how his long career has changed as he has become a father.
