‘The Red Sleeve Cuff’ Episodes 13 and 14: Lee Junho and Lee Se Young’s First Kiss

'The Red Sleeve Cuff' Episode 13: Sung Deok Im Refuses to be Yi San's Concubine
Kang Wol Hye (Ji Eun) was arrested for attempting to harm the king. Sung Deok Im visited her while she was locked up even though she did something wrong. Deok Im remained genuine to her, and Wol Hye was thankful to have her friend by her side.
In the palace, Yi San noticed Deok Im was not in a good mood, so he made a bet with her. If he wins, she has to answer his proposal, but if Sung Deok Im wins, Yi San will fulfill her wish.
The two played stone-skipping for their bet. Sung Deok Im went first and succeeded, followed by Yi San. He saw how desperate the court lady was so her nonchalantly threw his stone in the pond to made Deok Im win.
He fulfilled her wish to bring back Bok Yeon in the palace.
Meanwhile, Princess Hyebin (Kang Mal Geum) told Yi San that Sung Deok Im refused to be his concubine. After hearing it from his mother, Yi San went to Deok Im to confirm it.
He found out that her reason was that she worries she would lose herself if she accepts his proposal.
Disappointed, the king walked out.
'The Red Sleeve Cuff' Episode 14: Yi San Kisses Sung Deok Im
Yi San was forced to be marry Hong Dan, Hong Deok Ro's younger sister. Conversely, the king was hurt for being with a woman he doesn't love. He only wanted Sung Deok Im but she kept on pushing him away.
Since Hong Dan has known Deok Im for awhile, she was the only person she could talk with inside the palace. She mentioned brother and the king were not on good terms, worrying her.

The court lady comforted her and assured that nothing bad would happen between the two as they have been working together for years.
Yi San got angry after learning Deok Im visited the queen and for being too caring for Deok Ro's sister. She confessed that they've known each other, and advised the king to treat the queen nicely and take care of her.
The king was hurt to hear it from Deok Im. He blamed her for refusing his love and giving him to another woman.
After days of being busy with his duty as a king, Yi San remained pre-occupied by Sung Deok Im. He called her and they met at the library. He told Deok Im about what happened to Deok Ro and that the court lady almost ruined his plan.
She told Yi San she just wanted to save her friend. The king yelled at Deok Im and thought of her as a bad maid.
To his shocked, she asked for her death as punishment. But instead, he grabbed her hand and told her how much he loves her.
Deok Im tried to unclasp herself from Yi San's arms and told him she doesn't have feelings for him. Yi San, however, was too desperate so he leaned closer to her face by force, kissing her.
Deok Im tried to push him away, but they ended up sharing a passionate kiss.
