‘Bulgasal: Immortal Souls’ Episode 2: Lee Jin Wook Hunts Kwon Nara for his Revenge
While the debut of the drama left viewers at the edge of their seats with a surprising twist, "Bulgasal: Immortal Souls" episode 2 kept the audience wanting for more as Lee Jin Wok lived at the present time and continued to hunt Kwon Nara.
To recall, episode 1 featured Min Sang Woon stabbing Dan Hwal with a sword, turning him into a bulgasal.
In return, she took her soul and became a human but ended up being killed by Dan Hwal.
Min Sang Hwoon will be reincarnated, but Dan Hwal promised to hunt her and show her the agony of being a bulgasal.
'Bulgasal: Immortal Souls' Episode 2: The General's Death
The second episode starts with the army witnessing Dan Hwal turned into a Bulgasal.
They told the General that he sacrificed his own family and his men to be a bulgasal, which made him furious at his adopted son for killing his daughter and grandson.
As the General went to the woods, Dan Hwal appeared, saying "I Knew you'd look for me."
He admitted that he is now a bulgasal but killed his wife and son by dragging them into this. However, he regrets that they would still be alive if they wouldn't have gone with him.
Understanding what he means, the General believes that his adopted son was not born a monster and ended up not killing him.
Unfortunately, the soldiers saw the General protecting Dan Hwal. Due to this, a soldier stabbed him with a sword.

Just when Dan Hwal was about to slaughter the soldier, the General reminded him that he once lived as a human.

At the brink of his death, he tells Dan Hwal to live in hiding and never feeds on human blood.
After losing the people he loves, the agony slowly fills his heart. With him being immortal and living for a hundred years, he promised to hunt the woman and not let him live peacefully.
Dan Hwal Reunites with Min Sang Woon
'Bulgasal: Immortal Souls' episode 2 featured the year 2006 when the woman was reincarnated as the twin sister of Min Sang Yeon.
Knowing that the bulgasal is after her, Min Sang Woon dropped out of school and refused to leave the house.
However, Sang Yeon found these actions a bit odd and never understood why her twin sister was hiding as if someone was hunting her.
Unfortunately, d-day has come for Min Sang Woon after Dan Hwal tracked her twin sister.
He barged into his home, killing the rest of the family except Min Sang Yeon.
At this time, Min Sang Won tells her twin that she won't be reincarnated anymore and tells her that she should live in hiding too and not to trust anyone.
Moreover, he also told Min Sang Yeon to make sure that she would kill the bulgasal herself.
