‘Bulgasal: Immortal Souls’ Episode 5: Lee Joon Convinces the Lee Jin Wook to Join Force Killing Kwon Nara
After finding out that Lee Jin Wook is not the person behind the death of Kwon Nara's family, "Bulgasal: Immortal Souls" episode 5 featured another revelation from Lee Joon.
In the fifth episode, he revealed why he kept hunting her soul, which initially belonged to Lee Jin Wook.
'Bulgasal: Immortal Soul' Episode 5 Recap: Dan Hwal Meets His Step-Father
Following the bloody encounter with Dark Hole and taking Min Sang Woon back to their car, he saw the orphan who was living in his place, Nam Do Yoon and asked why he was in the area.
He mentioned that a detective wanted to know Dan Hwal's whereabouts and lead him to the place.
Dan Hwal was stunned to see his step-father, the General during the Joseon era, reincarnated as a detective and is also tracking the Bulgasal in hopes of closing the case of Min Sang Woon.
"Father, you need to stop this," he told the unconscious detective and called 911 for backup.

In Dan Hal's place, Min Sang Woon wakes up in a locked room and figures out a way to escape and go after her sister.
She asked to take her to the restroom, which he did; unfortunately, Dan Hwal saw Min Sang Woon trying to escape.
As for her younger sister Min Shi Ho, she was taken under Hye Suk, previously a shaman.
Will Dark Hole Convince Dan Hwal to Join Force with Him?
In "Bulgasal: Immortal Souls," episode 5, he received a call from Dark Hole asking to meet him.
Looking dapper, both gentlemen dined at a posh restaurant. Here, he learned about his fellow bulgasal and why he is hunting to take Min Sang Woon's soul.
Given that Dan Hwal is not the enemy of Dark Hole, he offered him a condition to reveal her location and if not, he will cause a scene that will lead to a bloodbath.
He then tells his fellow bulgasal that he doesn't care as the people are mere strangers to him.
Sensing that Dan Hwal would not reveal Min Sang Woon's whereabouts, he tried a different tactic and convinced him to join forces to kill Min Sang Woon.
Dark Hole then showed a large scar on his chest, which literally looked like a dark hole.
Getting a little bit emotional, he revealed that the scar would keep on rotting and felt a never-ending pain, so he must kill Sang Woon.
Dan Hwal Almost Killed Min Sang Woon
The bulgasal takes Min Sang Woon into a well where he and his family died 600 years ago.
Holding a knife in her neck and right before he turned into a bulgasal, Hye Suk tells him that Min Si Ho is gone and someone might have probably taken her.
In the latter part of "Bulgasal: Immortal Souls," episode 5, Min Sang Woon goes off to find her sister, but Dan Hwal insists that she can't do it alone.
The upcoming episode hints at a more intense battle between the two bulgasals.
