Korean heartthrob Jang Dong Yoon is finally making a return on the small screen as he is confirmed to lead a new romance-fantasy drama!
Jang Dong Yoon to Team Up with Nana in 'My Man is Cupid'
On January 7, K-media outlets reported that Jang Dong Yoon would make a dramatic comeback with former After School member and "Oh! Master" actress Nana.
They are confirmed to lead the upcoming series "My Man is Cupid" that follows the story of a fairy who fell in love after being shot by a bow and a woman who was entangled in love.
"Once Again Happy Ending" writer Heo Sung Hee will pen the script, and will display his unique punchlines and three-dimensional character in the play. Meanwhile, "Switch: Change the World" director Nam Tae Jin is expected to helm the "My Man is Cupid," and show the drama's thrilling and delicate fantastic visuals.
In addition, Jang Dong Yoon and Nana are drawing keen attention for they will work for the first time in one project. Their fantasy visual chemistry and gentle romance acting are expected to bring excitement to the viewers this year.

The "Tale of Nokdu" actor takes the role of Chun Sang Hyuk, a fairy who fell in love after being hit by an arrow he shot. In the play, he is the 28th fairy on earth to restore his wings after being burned 500 years ago.
Jang Dong Yoon, who was loved for his refreshing visuals and natural passion for his role as a female dresser in his previous historical-romance drama "Tale of Nokdu," will once again showcase his charms.

Furthermore, Jang Dong Yoon has two upcoming projects that are to be released this year. First is "Long Distance," a romantic movie where he collaborated with "True Beauty" actress Park Yoo Na. Second is the action-suspense film, "Wolf Hunt," where Dong Yoon will display his amazing action stints alongside "Doom at Your Service" actor Seo In Guk.
Meanwhile, Nana plays the character of Oh Baek Ryeon, a doctor in a 24-hour veterinary hospital. She is a person who refuses to date because there are many guys who only fall in love with her innocent beauty.
This will be Nana's second project following "Oh! Master." She is also gearing up for Netflix's original series "Glitch" with Jeon Yeo Bin which is slated to premiere this 2022.
HB Entertainment, which produced top-tier Kdramas such as "Sky Castle" and "My Love From the Star" will also be the company to produce Jang Dong Yoon and Nana's "My Man is Cupid."
