Over his social media account, the reality star released a statement revealing his plans to take things to court if netizens continue to harass him with false rumors and malicious comments.
In Kim Hyun Jung's Instagram Story, he began by thanking fans for their countless support even after appearing in "Single's Inferno."
Moreover, he described himself as "someone who has just lived a normal life". However, he continued by pointing out that "it's possible to criticize" him after seeing only one side of him.

Through this, he spoke about the allegations he faced in various online communities and how he struggled due to this.
"However, the malicious comments, false rumors, slander against my personal daily life, mockery, sexual harassment, etc. on online community forums are at a very serious level and as a result, I am currently struggling a lot," he said as translated by Allkpop.
As a result, the fitness enthusiast mentioned his decision to "take legal action against the malicious comments, posts, and spreading of false information."
Lastly, he took the opportunity to express his heartfelt gratitude to his supporters for showing love since day 1.
Kim Hyun Joong Criticized for Unfollowing Fellow' 'Single's Inferno' Cast Song Ji Ah
To recall, after the Netflix series wrapped up its finale episode, fans noticed that Kim Hyun Joong unfollowed Song Ji Ah on Instagram in the wake of her controversy.
It came after the 24-year-old YouTuber received backlash for using fake luxury items like Chanel and Dior in "Singles Inferno."
Although she immediately admits and apologizes for her actions, the public turn their heads on Kim Hyun Joong, who was Song Ji Ah's on-show partner on the Netflix program.
However, in an interview with the Korean outlet Maeil Business Paper, the fitness model and entrepreneur put the rumors to rest and denied that he unfollowed her fellow participant to "cut [his] losses."
"I didn't want unnecessary rumors to start circulating, that is why I decided to unfollow her too," he explained, noting that he had no idea about issues surrounding the beauty content creator.
As for his relationship with Song Ji Ah, Kim Hyun Joong shared that they are still friends and remained communicating with each other.
"We remained on friendly terms, and even in the middle of the airing of the show, we contacted each other here and there," he said, adding, "Why would I have any reason to 'cut my losses?"
Unfortunately, the controversy involving his "Single's Inferno" co-star is not the only issue that he is currently facing.
Kim Hyun Joong Denies Using Steroids
Kim Hyun Joong was also rumored to use steroids to enhance his physique but clapped back by saying that he is all-natural and has "never used it."
"I have been exercising for 11 years. Before, I used to be even bigger [muscle-wise], but due to congenital kidney function issues, I have been maintaining my slimness," he said on his Instagram Q&A.
