The upcoming Netflix series gears up by giving the viewers a glimpse of the intensity of the highly anticipated series after releasing its official trailers and still cuts.

Interestingly, the streaming giant successfully gained the public's attention, both locally and internationally, as "All of Us Are Dead" is among the most talked-about upcoming series.

However, critics expressed their opinions about the K-zombie series ahead of its debut.

Directed by Lee Jae Gyoo, who is the genius behind the 2019 thriller mystery Kdrama "Trap," the upcoming series is based on the webtoon of the same name written by Joo Dong Geun.

"All of Us Are Dead" follows the story of a zombie outbreak in the modern-day world.

A group of students at Hyosan High School struggled to survive after they got trapped in a zombie-infested campus that turned out to be the virus' ground zero.

With a series of teasers released by Netflix, critics expressed their thoughts about the upcoming K-zombie series.

South China Morning Post rated the forthcoming show with a 2 out of 5 score, calling the progress of the Kdrama's narration a "disappointment."

In addition, the review also compared "All of Us Are Dead" to AMC's "The Walking Dead" adding, "Yet under this slick veneer lies a network of hairline cracks, which are easy to gloss over at first, but grow more prominent as the show moves past its thrilling opening salvo."

Moreover, the critic mentioned how the Kdrama touches on social issues such as "school bullying, college entrance exams, social inequality, blackmail pornography, cronyism, and teenage pregnancy" as well as historical incidents like the "Gwangju Massacre and the sinking of the Sewol Ferry."

On the other hand, film and TV critic and YouTuber Rama's Screen lauded South Korea as having one of the best storytellers for creating such wonderful shows like "Squid Game" and now an upcoming K-zombie, "All of Us Are Dead."

As the commentary continues, he named the 12-part episode series as "the next big sensation" after the Hwang Dong Hyuk directed Kdrama.

Being a fan of zombie films and tv shows, the YouTuber pointed out how the forthcoming thriller series featured "bloody terrifying" scenes and mentioned how it does not have a "single boring minute" based on the trailer.

Moreover, he assured that fans would not be disappointed after finishing the series.

"All of Us Are Dead" is a 12 episode series set to be released on January 28 exclusively on Netflix.

After the streaming giant gave the green light to produce the Kdrama, several viewers waited for its highly anticipated debut.
