Krystal Jung joins the star-studded cast of director Kim Ji Woon's upcoming film "Cobweb," which stars award-winning actors Song Kang Ho, Oh Jung Se, Im Soo Jung and Jeon Yeo Been.

Following the confirmation of Krystal Jung's addition to the cast, the production team on the film also confirmed its filming date.

Krystal Jung joins the much anticipated Kim Ji Woon masterpiece "Cobweb" this 2022!

Alongside award-winning stars Song Kang Ho, Oh Jung Se, Im Soo Jung and Jeon Yeo Been, Krystal headlines the new film.

"Cobweb" follows the story of a director who is obsessed with the ending of a 1970s film, which he decides to refilm. However, the actors and crew of the film don't know how censorship and changes work, setting them up in unfavorable conditions.

The upcoming film depicts the mishaps and hilarious things that happen to the cast and crew while filming a movie.

In the movie, Song Kang Ho stars as Director Kim, a man who is obsessed with refilming a classic movie to alter its ending. 

The actor, who starred in many dramas like "The Good Guy, the Bad Guy, the Strange Guy," is expected to show his award-winning performance and 100% immersion with his role.

Next, Im Soo Jung transforms into veteran actress Lee Min Ja, Kang Ho Se's wife. She's an actress with several years of experience, and is set to work together with Director Kim to refilm the classic movie.

"Cobweb" marks Im Soo Jung's second film with director Kim Ji Woon, whom she met through the 2003 film "A Tale of Two Sisters."

With that, she is expected to show an impressive synergy with the production crew, as well as her co-stars.

In addition to that, she recently appeared in the romance coming-of-age drama "Melancholia" with Lee Do Hyun.

Meanwhile, actor Oh Jung Se, who is known for his roles in "Extreme Job," "When the Camellia Blooms," as well as his sympathetic acting that brings comfort to viewers, takes on the role of Kang Ho Se, Lee Min Ja's husband.

Even as a married man, he constantly flirts with other women, which makes him more charismatic and appealing to women. In the movie, he portrays the male lead in Director Kim's movie.

"Vincenzo" star Jeon Yeo Been proves her versatility as an actress as she joins the cast of "Cobweb" as Shin Mi Do, a member of the production crew that will produce the movie.

She unconditionally supports Director Kim, but she also gets into absurd fights with the director which makes everyone laugh on set.

Kim Ji Woon's 'Cobweb' To Begin Filming This March

"Cobweb" is a work helmed together by award-winning director Kim Ji Woon and screenwriter Shin Yeon Sik.

It is produced by Ruth Yi Sonidos, the same production team of the popular and enigmatic film "Dongju: The Portrait of a Poet," starring Kang Ha Neul, Park Jung Min and Choi Hee Seo.

Meanwhile, Song Kang Ho, Oh Jung Se, Im Soo Jung, Jeon Yeo Been and Krystal Jung are scheduled to begin filming for the upcoming film "Cobweb" in March 2022.
