'Forecasting Love and Weather' Presscon: Park Min Young Admits True Feelings of Working With Song Kang
Countdown has begun for the much-awaited premiere of JTBC's new office romance drama "Forecasting Love and Weather"! Starring the fresh love team Park Min Young and Song Kang, the actress shared during the drama's presscon her honest feelings of knowing and working with the young heartthrob for the first time.
Director Cha Young Hoon Discusses How 'Forecasting Love and Weather' Was Made
At the "Forecasting Love and Weather" presscon, main cast Park Min Young, Song Kang, Yoon Park, and Girl's Day Yura were present along with the drama's director Cha Young Hoon.
The director shared how long the drama was made before making it on the small screen. According to him, it was writer Sun Young and spent almost two years doing research.
He added that she spent eight months working with actual employees of the Korea Meteorological Administration. Cha Young Hoon revealed that Sun Young got inspired by how life was hard to predict as the weather.

After revealing a glimpse of the drama's back story, lead stars had their turn to discuss further about their take on the series, and their experience working with one another in a challenging drama concept.

Park Min Young, who is returning on the small screen, marks "Forecasting Love and Weather" as her third office drama. She said that even though it's her third time to do the same genre, the "Private Lives" star was still challenged by the fresh and unique concept of the K-series.

Park Min Young added that in the past, she mostly wore feminine-type clothing, but it changed in this drama since she is a civil servant, working at the Korea Meteorological Administration. She wanted to display a more professional aura.

Opposite Park Min Young is Korean heartthrob and the "Son of Netflix" Song Kang.
The drama's concept about weather was fresh for the young actor. He told the media that he found himself smiling as he read the script. Song Kang described that his new character as clumsy and straightforward was perfect for him.

About the challenges he encountered, Song Kang revealed that the lines were hard. And like Park Min Young, to understand further the theme of the series, he watched lots of documentaries, but he also had difficulties in watching it since there were new terminologies for him.

When talking about working with Song Kang, Park Min Young shared that when she knew about the casting news, the actress was happy to learn that she would be working with a popular actor. She even searched for Song Kang's dramas and found out that there was even greater potential for her new onscreen partner.
Meanwhile Yoon Park and Yura both agreed that they liked and enjoyed the drama's script.
