In time for Valentine's day, the Ascottage CEO guested on fashion and beauty vlogger Sunny Dahye's YouTube channel and got candid regarding his experience on the show and the changes after "Single's Inferno."
In the q&A, Oh Jin Taek was asked how his life has been after appearing as the show's OG cast.
He shared that since he gets a lot of questions from fans over social media, this prompted him to launch his YouTube channel to have a platform where he could share his interests.

As the interview continues, he spills the details regarding how he was cast for the Netflix reality dating show.
Oh Jin Taek revealed how he shot his luck after a friend told him about the casting for an upcoming reality show.
He mentioned that the process was quite tricky and had to undergo a series of interviews such as psychological and MBTI tests before officially joining the show.
When asked if "Single's Inferno" was scripted, the 29-year-old entrepreneur shared the same stance as his fellow participants and noted that "Single's Inferno" was not scripted.

The beauty and lifestyle vlogger asked him who among the cast he thinks he would like him more if he met outside the island.
Without having second thoughts, he immediately answered Kang So Yeon, noting that his feelings for her were sincere since the beginning, adding, "even if outside the island, I'll choose So Yeon."
