Who Are the Korean Stars to Most Likely Enlist in Military This Year
According to Insight, a known K-media outlet reported that trendy actors Song Kang and Nam Joo Hyuk are included in the list of stars to absolutely enlist in the military anytime soon this 2022.

Mandatory military service is a requirement for every male South Korean by the time they reach 28-years-old (Korean age) unless a person has an exemption that has been cleared by the nation. Koreans are expected to fulfill their chosen field for about 1.5 years. Like any other ordinary male Korean citizen, your favorite K-drama stars are also obliged to do military service.

Notable actor and "Son of Netflix" star Song Kang who has been dominating the entertainment industry since 2020, has the possibility to go on hiatus this year and start his mandatory military service. In addition to the report, there has been no news of any postponements for Korean stars, which means that the "Love Alarm" actor who is now 27-years-old will most likely be enlisting before he turns 28 in April.

Nam Joo Hyuk was born in 1994 and he will turn 28-years-old (international age) this year. He is one of the male stars who is also looking at his forthcoming enlistment date. Though his agency Management Soop hasn't announced anything yet regarding his entertainment hiatus, in accordance with South Korea's standard military service law, all males born in 1994 will be required to enter the military before December 2022.
In the meantime, catch Nam Joo Hyuk and Song Kang with their newly released romance series on Netflix with "Twenty Five, Twenty One" and "Forecasting Love and Weather," respectively.
