'Rookie Cops' Episode 7: KNPU Students Prepare for Their University Festival
The KNPU freshmen students had a surprise assembly at three in the morning and everyone was in chaos and struggling to prepare for five-minute preparation to be fully prepared and attend the early morning meeting with their senior officials.

Among the squad, Woo Ju Young (Min Do Hee) got the penalty because of her tardiness. Meanwhile, all students and school departments are preparing for the big upcoming university festival.
Cha Yu Gon Interrogates Kim Tak Due to the Billiard Incident But Found a Shocking News About His Family Background
After examining his record, Kim Tak entered the disciplinary office and met Cha Yu Gon (Kim Sang Ho). The head professor warned him to not repeat the same incident ever again for it will ruin his and the university's reputation.

The professor also said that Kim Tak should be careful because once he made another mistake, his special admission in KNPU might be abolished. The student attentively listened to him and responded in a respectful manner.
Meanwhile, Yu Gon asked Kim Tak why he decided to enter KNPU. He simply answered that it was because of his late brother. He explained that his oldest brother didn't make it to graduation because he got into an accident.
To his shock, Cha Yu Gon looked again at Kim Tak's profile and asked if Kim Hyunsoo was the name of his late brother. The freshman police student was surprised that Yu Gon knew his sibling.

And a flashback appeared showing that Cha Yu Gon used to be Kim Hyunsoo's colleague and worked with Wi Gi Yong (Son Chang Min). Hyunsoo died while doing an operation set by Gi Yong.
Since then, Yu Gon turned his back to Wi Gi Yong because he didn't care for Hyunsoo who was loyal to him.
Wi Seung Hyun Starts to Open Up to Go Eun Gang
Ki Han Na (Park Yoo Na), Kim Tak (Lee Shin Young), Go Eun Gang (Chae Soo Bin), and Wi Seung Hyun (Kang Daniel) were all in the same team and will have to come in pairs for training.

Kim Tak swapped with Seung Hyun for he knew that his friend likes to spend time with Eung Gang. He then trained with Ki Han Na which made Shin Ah Ri (Cheon Young Min) jealous. On the other hand, Seung Hyun escorted Eun Gang outside campus to go biking which is also his way of spending time with her.
He became more vocal to her and even told her that the main reason he joined the university is to follow in the footsteps of his father.
