The Monday and Tuesday drama concluded its first season by setting its new personal best.
According to Neilsen, "Ghost Doctor" episode 16 garnered an average nationwide ratings of 7.953 percent.

Interestingly, the finale episode significantly increased from its previous highest viewership rating, 6.597 percent, during episode 8.
'Ghost Doctor' Episode 16 Recap: Ahn Tae Hyun Set Things Right
In the final episode, Dr. Ahn Tae Hyun (Ko Sang Ho) made things right through the help of his mentor Cha Young Min (Rain).
Professor Cha saw how he regrets collaborating with Han Seung Won's (Tae In Ho) wrongdoings and wanted to get things right this time.
To make up with his professor, he agreed to assist Ko Seung Tak (Kim Bum) on his operation, which obviously stunned Han Seung Won.
Last Words with Tess
As he prepares for his final surgery, Cha Young Min had a heart-to-heart talk with Tess (Sung Dong Il).
Dr. Cha expressed his gratitude towards Tess; on the other hand, he gave him a few reminders.
Tess tells Cha Young Min to remember the lessons he learned while being a coma ghost saying "Don't forget, Young-min, when you wake up, you become a doctor who sees people, okay? And the surgery goes well. Let's not see each other again."
Ko Seung Tak and Rain Proceed with their Last Joint Operation
The d-day has come to Cha Young Min and Ko Seung Tak as they are about to perform the procedure on the comatose Dr. Cha.
Dr. Cha and Ko Seung Tak faced a crisis after Cha Young Min was separated from the intern's body during the operation.
However, he trusts Ko Seung Tak that he could have wrapped up the operations alone, which he did.
Fortunately, the operation was successful, leaving fellow doctors at Eusang to rejoice, especially Ko Seung Tak and Dr. Jang Se Jin (Uee).
As for Dr. Ahn, he confronted Mr. Han and told him that their deal is off.
Cha Young Min Remembers His Past
Through the video that Cha Young Min recorded while he is inside Ko Seung Tak's body, he was able to remember the things he did when he was a coma ghost and the memories he had with people around him.
