‘A Business Proposal’ Star Seol In Ah Reportedly to Join Kim Soo Hyun’s Agency
Actress Seol In Ah ends her contract with Oui Entertainment and is rumored to join "It's Okay Not To Be Okay" stars Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji in Gold Medalist.
Will Seol In Ah Sign with Kim Soo Hyun's Agency?
April 4, a media outlet stated that "A Business Proposal" star will not renew her exclusive contract with Oui Entertainment. She is expected to start a new journey with a new entertainment agency. Seol In Ah is likely to sign with Gold Medalist, a home to K-drama stars Kim Soo Hyun, Seo Ye Ji, and Kim Sae Ron.
For now, Gold Medalist has yet to released announcement about the news.
Kim Soo Hyun
The female star has been with Oui Entertainment since her rookie days. In Ah started her acting career in 2015 and appeared in KBS' series "The Producers." The following year, she starred in "The Flower in Prison."
Seol In Ah's K-Drama Role Transition Since Debut
In 2017, Seol In Ah began to show more of her potential and received two supporting roles in "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" and "School 2017." Because of her amazing performance, she then landed her first-ever lead role as a promising fashion enthusiast in 2018 with KBS' family drama "Sunny Again Tomorrow." In this series, Seol In Ah bagged her first Best New Actress award and also opened new doors for her.
In 2019, she appeared in MBC's "Special Labor Inspector Mr. Jo." She then starred in "Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life." Seol In Ah bagged the Excellent Actress Award at the 2019 KBS Drama Awards.
Her career continued to blossom and joined Park Bo Gum, Park So Dam, and Byeon Woo Seok in "Record of Youth." In 2020, Seol In Ah transitioned to the villain role and played Jo Hee Jin's character. She is the rival of Shin Hye Sun, who portrayed Queen So Young.
This 2022, she captured many with her beautiful and charming character as Jin Young Seo in SBS' Monday-Tuesday drama "A Business Proposal." She reunited with "School 2017" co-star Kim Sejeong.
