Some of the Korean dramas that are released successfully hooked fans and viewers with its romantic and comical elements and promising plots.

However, some of them ended with unsatisfying endings, more often than not cliche and rushed.

Here are some of the best and highly loved K-Dramas with endings that viewers wish to change.

1. 'Squid Game'

Without a doubt, "Squid Game" is one of the best releases in the year 2022. The series dominated not only South Korean television but also the US scene.

"Squid Game" and its actors Lee Jung Jae, Park Hae Soo, Jung Ho Yeon and more received critical acclaim for their performances at the Golden Globe Awards, American Cinema Editors Awards and more.

However, the ending of the series disappointed fans despite its outrageous success. There were loopholes throughout the show and nothing was properly explained.

In the series, instead of reuniting with his daughter, the lead character ditches his flight to join another version of "Squid Game."

There were definitely mixed reactions but now that there is going to be a second season, fans and viewers hope to see a realistic and more convincing ending for the highly acclaimed series.

2. 'Extraordinary You'

SF9 Rowoon and Kim Hye Yoon's romance series "Extraordinary You" is one of the most debatable releases in history, as fans are divided when it comes to its ending.

While the drama is pretty entertaining and frustrating at times (because of its twists), "Extraordinary You" did not reach viewers' expectations with its cliche and unappealing ending.

3. 'Scarlet Heart Ryeo'

IU, Kang Ha Neul, Lee Joon Gi's romance melodrama "Scarlet Heart Ryeo" is by far the most controversial drama of all time.

With its gripping story, "Scarlet Heart Ryeo" did not take a lot of time to entice fans and viewers. Apart from its auspiciousness, the performances of the cast are commendable.

However, the last episode crushed the hearts of its avid fans with its ending, leaving a huge void in the heart that nothing can ever fill.

"Scarlet Heart Ryeo" is an amazing drama, and the lack of season two is such a shame.

3. 'A Business Proposal'

Surprisingly, the recently concluded rom-com drama "A Business Proposal" is included in this list.

Throughout its broadcast, Kim Sejeong, Ahn Hyo Seop, Kim Min Gyu and Seol In Ah successfully stole the hearts of the viewers.

For six consecutive weeks, the drama topped the most buzzworthy dramas and actors rankings. It also received promising solid double digit ratings.

Fans and viewers were dissatisfied with its vague ending. Granted that the drama had a fast-paced flow, the ending seemed so rushed which disappointed the viewers.

Although it ended on a happy note, the viewers wished to see more of the characters' lives beyond each other's love confessions and proposals.

5. 'Twenty Five, Twenty One'

Joining "Scarlet Heart Ryeo" is Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk's "Twenty Five, Twenty One."

For eight weeks, the tvN drama recorded solid viewership ratings which signified the undeniable "BaekDo Fever," and the drama's huge success.

In spite of that, the drama received a lot of criticisms as it gave the fans a vague and open ending in the final episode.

In particular, the viewers' much loved couple Na Hee Do (Kim Tae Ri) and Baek Yi Jin's (Nam Joo Hyuk) did not end well. It further crushed the viewers' hearts and souls.

Up until this writing, fans and viewers still express their disappointment on the "too realistic" ending of their favorite romance sports drama.
