Namgoong Min’s New Drama ‘One Thousand Won Lawyer’ to Air This Year
The 2021 MBC Daesang-recipient is finally making his much-awaited comeback this year. Namgoong Min is set to dominate the small screen with "One Thousand Won Lawyer."

Namgoong Min Returns With New Legal Drama
On May 12, Newsis stated that Namgoong Min will return to SBS after two years. He is confirmed to lead another series, titled "One Thousand Won Lawyer." It tells the story of top lawyers fighting against rich lawmakers and expensive lawyers.
The award-winning actor will take the role of Jeon Ji Hoon, a troublemaker lawyer who is skilled in handling cases but charges 1000 KRW as his attorney's fee.
Namgoong Min is expected to reunite with "The Veil" co-star Kim Ji Eun, she takes the character of Baek Ma Ri, a prosecutor from a royal family. She will experience an exciting journey in her career after meeting Jeon Ji Hoon.

Expectations for Namgoong Min start to increase as to what kind of performance he will show in the new SBS project after he bagged the Grand Prize at the 2020 SBS Drama Awards for the series "Hot Stove League."
What We Know So Far About 'One Thousand Won Lawyer'
The drama is scheduled to premiere this 2022. Siblings Choi Soo Jin and Choi Chang Hwan are in charge of writing the script. They are also the creative people behind the drama "Defendant" in 2017.
Teaming up with the Choi sisters are Kim Jae Hyun and Shin Joong Hoon, who will direct "One Thousand Won Lawyer."
Furthermore, the drama's production also unveiled the other cast members who are expected to make their appearances in the series.
Veteran actor Lee Deok Hwa, who consecutively participated in two projects this year namely, "The Red Sleeve Cuff" and "A Business Proposal" star is booked to share the frame with Namgoong Min. He will play the role of Baek Hyun Moo.
Park Jin Woo, who starred in tvN's "Military Prosecutor Doberman" and previously worked with Namgoong Min in "The Veil," also made it to the casting and takes the character of Jeon Ji Hoon's secretary, who takes charge of his mess at work.
Choi Dae Hoon, who appeared in "Beyond Evil," "Racket Boys," "Melancholia" and more, is also confirmed as cast member.
