Set to open on July 8 at Art One Theater 2 in Daehangno, fans could also book their tickets starting June 2 at Interpark Ticket's Theater Competition Home Page.

Kim Seon Ho's new theater play focuses on the true-to-life story of two British climbers who went on an impossible journey.

The main characters are Joe Simpson and Simon Yates, who managed to return following a dangerous escapade in the west region of Siula Grande in the Peruvian Andes in 1985.

Amid the vast snowy mountain, blizzards, and being trapped in the harsh nature, the duo overcame their fear and successfully returned home.

Interestingly, the play first premiered in the UK back in 2018 and will be remade in Korea with Kim Seon Ho as one of the lead actors.

Directed by Kim Dong Yeon, completing the cast lineup for "Touching the Void" are Shin Sung Min, Lee Hwi Jong, Oh Jung Taek, and Jung Hwan.

Before earning the moniker K-drama's "good boy," Kim Seon Ho started his career as a theater actor.

As noted by Korea Times, the "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" star made his debut in the 2009 play "New Boeing Boeing."

It's no surprise how the 36-year-old star perfectly portrays his roles, whether it's support or major characters.

Kim Seon Ho then jumped to on-screen acting with his first appearance in the 2017 KBS2 series "Good Manager," and the rest is history for the South Korean star.

From being a rising star, thanks to the popularity of his K-drama "Start-Up" with Bae Suzy and Nam Joo Hyuk, he landed another lead role with Shin Min Ah in "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha."
