'Why Her?' Episode 1: Oh Soo Jae's Life Collapses After Park Soo Young Commits Suicide
With her excellent skills and knowledge about legal cases, and winning numerous trials, Oh Soo Jae is considered as the best lawyer in TK Law Firm. Though many are jealous of her, she's able to prove her capability as a legal consultant, and got promoted as the firm's first female lawyer to represent TK Law Firm.
However, when her inauguration was about to occur, an incident happened outside the law firm building, which became her worst nightmare.
Choi Tae Guk (Heo Jun Ho) asked Soo Jae to clean Ahn Kang Hoon's name for rape accusations. She then met Park Soo Young, who claimed that she was a victim of sexual assault. Since Oh Soo Jae was hired to clean Kang Hoon's image, she had a heated conversation with Soo Young.
Oh Soo Jae's words hurt and provoked Park Soo Young, which resulted her to jump out of the building and committed suicide.

Gong Chan's Cruel Encounter With Oh Soo Jae
Choi Tae Guk wanted Oh Soo Jae to take a break first at work and ordered her to become a professor at the Seojung University Law School.
While emotionally and mentally exhausting from all the things happening around her, Gong Chan (Hwang In Yeop), who at that time working at the market, dropped the fish box on Oh Soo Jae. Without hesitation, the female lawyer slapped him in the face twice.

When she's about to slap him one more time, Gong Chan grabbed Soo Jae's wrist and stopped her. Their eyes met, and the male law student felt the misery that the female lawyer faces based on her expression.
Unexpectedly, on their first day in law school, students were all waiting for their professor. Everyone was shocked when Oh Soo Jae entered the room, as she is the newly appointed teacher to accompany them for the whole semester.
Gong Chan, who was in the same class, was surprised to see that familiar face in front of him. Viewers are now looking forward to Gong Chan and Oh Soo Jae's next encounter inside the law school.
