Goo Hye Sun Hints at K-drama Comeback
Goo Hye Sun showed off her youthful and vibrant charm as she graced Mac & Gina's cover. The 37-year-old South Korean actress flaunted her ageless beauty on the publication's latest cover. Moreover, the actress-director also spoke about her upcoming projects both behind and in front of the camera.
Goo Hye Sun on Her Transition from Actress to Director
Goo Hye Sun's Instagram featured a series of photos for her Mac & Gina's magazine cover.
During the interview, as obtained by an outlet, she was asked about her experience transitioning from being an actress to scriptwriter and director.
The "The King and I" star expressed how happy she is and even described the emotion as if her "heart pounded for the first time in a long time."
Moreover, she also took the opportunity to "thank the staff, actors, film festival judges, and fans" who showed her support and promised to continue "making films" and "come back as an actress."

To recall, her film "Dark Yellow," which she wrote and directed, made it to the 24th Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia. It will be one of the competitors for the Asian International & Japan Program.
Goo Hye Sun's short film is a horror melodrama that follows the story of a woman who crossed paths with a man who became obsessed with her.
The "Dark Yellow" cast includes Goo Hye Sun and Ahn Seo Hyun as the main characters.
Goo Hye Sun to Return to K-drama?
As mentioned, she hints at her return to the small screen.
Goo Hye Sun mentioned in her interview with the publication that she is gearing up for her possible comeback; however, she explained that it might "take a while" to be released.
"I'm preparing to see you in a drama, but since it's a drama that I've been doing for a long time, it seems like it will take a while because she wants to show an impactful role," she said.
To recall, the 37-year-old star is best known for her role as Geum Jan Di in the smash hit Kdrama "Boys Over Flowers."
In the coming of age series, Goo Hye Sun was joined by Lee Min Ho, Kim Bum, Kim Joon, and Kim Hyun Joong as the lead stars.
Moreover, "Boys Over Flowers" was also the drama that gained her massive popularity, not just in South Korea.
Apart from the mega-hit Kdrama, Goo Hye Sun is also known for her role in "The Musical," "Take Care of Us, Captain," "Angel Eyes," and "Blood," where she met her former husband, Ahn Jae Hyun.
On the other hand, as she continued with her interview, she spoke about celebrating her 20th anniversary.
For her milestone, Goo Hye Sun revealed that she wanted to "remain as an artist who walks her own path to the public" through her work as an actress and director.
