'Alchemy of Souls' Episode 8: Jang Uk Kills Gil Ju

Previously, Gil Ju (Choi Ji Ho) ordered Mu Deok (Jung So Min) to bring Jang Uk (Lee Jae Wook) to the empty temple in order for him to cast the alchemy of souls.

Mu Deok and Jang Uk devised a plan and tricked Gil Ju. Fortunately, the latter failed to cast the alchemy of souls in hopes of switching souls with Jang Uk.

Gil Ju then runs away to find a new soul to satisfy his hunger and regain his power in no time. Jang Uk follows him quietly, determined to take him down.

The mages in Songrim saw the flames that the dangerous spell emitted and hurriedly went to the temple.

With a blue scarf on his face to hide his identity, Jang Uk shows off his deadly skills and uses Tansu to kill Gil Ju.

In episode 8, Jang Uk promises to do everything to protect Mu Deok, and prevent her to run wild like most soul shifters.
