‘Today’s Webtoon’ Presscon: Kim Sejeong Greets Viewers With New Blockbuster Hit
Prior to the much awaited premiere of "Today's Webtoon," the cast and production unit of the series greet the public through an online press conference.

The much-awaited office romance about webtoons is finally meeting the screen this summer!

Prior to the drama premiere, Kim Sejeong, Choi Daniel, Nam Yoon Su and director Jo Su Won attended the online press conference on July 26 to formally introduce the drama.
"Today's Webtoon" is an office romance drama that simultaneously depicts the competitive and busy industry of webtoon, as well as the struggles of the main character On Ma Eum, played by Kim Sejeong.
Kim Sejeong shared that she put her heart and time into curating a character that everyone will be able to relate to.

"The drama is not just about webtoon, but it's about dreams," she said. "I will transform into On Ma Eum to give support, comfort and hope to people who are about to give up on their dreams, and to those people who are starting to have a dream."

Earlier this year, Kim Sejeong created a lot of buzz with her two-character role in the blockbuster hit series "A Business Proposal" with Ahn Hyo Seop, Kim Min Gyu and Seol In Ah.

As both stories were adapted from a webtoon and produced by SBS, Kim Sejeong is put under a microscope and is expected to top her performance in the previous work.
"I filmed the work with sincerity to my heart's content," Kim Sejeong revealed. "I'm confident with the quality of drama that the production unit, as well as my co-stars, created. Please give "Today's Webtoon" a lot of love!"
What Sets 'Today's Webtoon' Apart From Other Office Romance Series
When asked about how he directed "Today's Webtoon," director Jo Su Won shared that he was afraid to touch the project.

"Truth to be told, I originally didn't want to do it," the director jokingly revealed with a laugh. "However, I took it because I didn't want to be scolded by my fellow directors."
Director Jo Su Won shared that he was fascinated with expanding the webtoon commercial field and because of this, he became determined to do the work.

As for the difference from other office romance dramas, the director hinted that the characters that will appear in "Today's Webtoon" will totally be different from the workers in a general office setting.

In particular, he also hinted that the drama will contain many entertaining CGI (computer-generated imagery) that will surely appeal to the public and new millennium.
