Kim Sejeong's Drama 'Today's Webtoon' To Premiere in THIS Month
As obtained by SBS News, the 25-year-old star guested on comedian Lee Yongjin's YouTube channel to promote Kim Sejeong's new drama "Today's Webtoon."
The host asked about her appearance in SBS' survival audition show "K-pop Star" in 2012 and mentioned how people compared her facial features then versus now.
"I heard that you got a lot of comments saying that you had double eyelid surgery," the YouTuber mentioned. They also noted that the singer-actress once tried to clarify by "uploading an anonymous post."
Kim Sejeong couldn't help but laugh and recall when she pretended to be her friend and posted comments about the rumored plastic surgery.
"I was really young when I joined 'K-pop Star.' But so many people were saying that my double eyelids looked like they were made at a clinic," she said and insisted that her eyelids are "all natural."
"They said they looked puffed up as if it hadn't been long since I got the surgery done. They looked swollen because I still had lots of baby fat on my face. When I read those comments, I really wanted to tell them that they were completely natural," she added.

To defend herself without exposing her identity, she used her friend's account and decided to write a post on one popular online community.
"There, I pretended to be my friend and was like, 'I've known her for a long time, and she's never had cosmetic surgery.'"
She stopped posting anonymous comments because she thinks she got caught after netizens claimed that the comments were lies.
