Lawyer Park Chang Ho's goal in life is to be the best and most successful in his job. He wants nothing but the best for his family. While daydreaming, Go Mi Ho and her father, Mr. Go, entered the luxurious room he reserved to celebrate their wedding anniversary.

While enjoying the meal, he received a call that made him head to Gucheon Hospital. Unfortunately, without him knowing, he is drugged and gets into a major accident while on his way to meet an important person.
Seven days before the accident happened, viewers saw a glimpse of the simple yet adorable marriage life of Chang Ho and Go Mi Ho (YoonA). He attends the trial of the case where he got scammed. Only he knew that the judge was bribed, which made him lose. His clients were angry, and so was his wife, Mi Ho, for losing the case. She even asked him for a divorce.
Choi Do Ha Partners With Park Chang Ho
Unexpectedly that night, Chang Ho received a call from Choi Do Ha (Kim Joo Hun), mayor of Gucheon. He asked to meet him on the same night because he wanted to hire Park Chang Ho to handle a big case involving his colleagues.

From the city, Chang Ho drove to a secluded place in the middle of nowhere, and then he met Choi Do Ha. The mayor asked him if he was familiar with Gucheon University Hospital murder then their negotiation began. The male lawyer found the case interesting, but the conditions for working on it seem risky.
Mayor Choi Do Ha is not aiming to help the accused but wants Mr. Park to help him find the dashcam footage to know the real murderer. To prove that he is genuine about the case, he offers Chang Ho a big amount of money.
Then the next day, the male lawyer starts working on the case and his secret mission. He becomes a double agent. His first task was to visit the accused in prison, namely Jung Chae Bong (Kim Jung Hyun), Lee Du Geun (Oh Ryoong), and Han Jae Ho (Lee Yoo Joon).

While amused with the fact that these three accused are getting special treatment inside the prison, Park Chang Ho played well so that the three elites don't question him about his inner motives and just think of him as a no-good lawyer.
Being smart, Park Chang Ho plants a secret recorder in his coffee cup and overhears the three talking about the dash cam given to Jae Ho's wife. He immediately reported it to Mayor Do Ha.
Park Chang Ho Becomes a Double Agent
When Chang Ho and Do Ha visited Jae Ho's wife, Jang Hye Jin (Hong Ji Hee), she was attacked by an unknown assailant. However, they found out that apart from the three elites, there was still an accomplice to the murder case: Gong Ji Hoon (Yang Kyung Won).

The male lawyer followed Hye Jin and got the video from her. She warned her to be careful with the case, for it might turn his life into misery. Chang Ho then has the video and finds out that the three elites, particularly Chae Bong, accidentally kill Seo Jae Young in their car.
Without thinking of the bigger picture, Chang Ho secretly went to Ji Hoon and tried to swindle him with the dash cam as evidence that could be used against him. Because of this, Mr. Park was put into a dangerous situation.
