She instructed her staff to return Lady Seo to their home, but the young doctor, Yoo Se Yeop, pointed out that the patient needed intensive treatment and must stay in their clinic.

After causing a huge commotion at the clinic, she decides to leave without her daughter-in-law.

At this point, Yoo Se Yeop gets suspicious about Lady Seo's mother-in-law.

During his investigation, he believed that the widow, Seo Eun Woo, was either poisoned by someone or by herself. However, her court lady said she never left the storage and had no way to get herself poison.

Interestingly, during their dinner, the son of Kim Hyang Gi said that an onion leaf is similar to a poison leaf that could lead to death if eaten.

With this, he realized that Lady Seo might be poisoned by her mother-in-law after bringing her the poisonous leaf instead of the onion leaf.

He went to confront the mother-in-law and revealed what he knew about the poison.

The mother-in-law believed that he wanted something out of it, but Yoo Se Yeop said that all he wanted was to release Seo Eun Woo and threatened to expose her if she didn't accept the deal.

Reason Behind Lady Seo's Attempted Suicide

While at the clinic, Lady Seo is making things difficult for others to treat her.

In the middle of the night, Yoo Se Yeop attempts to jump off the cliff but is stopped by the young doctor, who makes her realize the meaning of life.

This will be the fourth time Yoo Se Yeop saved Seo Eun Woo.

A scene in "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist" episode 2 uncovered why Lady Seo felt this way.

When she is set to meet her husband for the first time, he ditches him at the ceremony and gets news that he is dead.

The loss of his mother-in-law was poured onto the new family member, pointing out that she was the reason for her son's death.

From then on, Lady Seo suffered maltreatment, which made her always feel guilty about what happened. This is the reason why she wanted to end her life.

In the last scene, Seo Eun Woo and Yoo Se Yeop, who changed their name to Yoo Se Poong, cross paths with a familiar face.

Lady Seo seems surprised to see Jo Shin Woo, the Supervisor of Sorak and Hanyang's minister's adopted son. The last scene hints that Shin Woo will play a significant role in Lady Seo and Yoon Se Poong's life.
