THIS K-drama is the Most-Talked About Series in 2022 According to Twitter Worldwide
Twitter names the list of most-talked-about K-dramas and movies in 2022 worldwide, which includes films and series from renowned Hallyu stars and idol-turned actresses.
According to a report, Yeon Jeong Kim, the head of Global K-pop & K-Contents Partnership at Twitter graced Content Marketing Summit 2022 in Seoul and presented how Hallyu is shaping the entertainment scene globally.
As K-content grew beyond Asia and reached Europe, North America, and Latin America, the company also unveiled the top 10 countries that are actively tweeting about Hallyu.
For 2022, South Korea, Thailand, and the U.S topped the list. Followed by the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Brazil, Japan, and the UK.
In addition, netizens in Mexico, Canada, France, Vietnam, Spain, Singapore, Italy, Turkey, Germany, and Peru show interest in K-contents based on Twitter activities.
Most Tweeted K-dramas of 2022
Twitter unveiled the top 10 K-dramas that gained massive buzz on the platform from January 1 to August 18 of 2022.
JTBC's "Snowdrop," starring BLACKPINK's Jisoo and Jung Hae In topped the list. Despite the controversy and average viewership rating during the entire run, the melodrama gained much hype from viewers and fans.

Landing in second place is tvN's "Twenty Five Twenty One." The coming-of-age K-drama, which stars Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk, made its premiere in February and was among the most-watched K-dramas.
During its finale, the series soared to 11.5 percent, setting a new all-time high for the smash hit K-drama as well as being the highest-rated 2022 K-drama in cable at the time.
In addition, Netflix's hit shows like "All of Us Are Dead" and "Squid Game" also entered the list of most-talked-about K-dramas of 2022, landing at fourth and tenth place, respectively.
Interestingly, the "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" craze continues as the Park Eun Bin-led K-drama ranked seventh.
